Indie outlet Q-Games isn't a company traditionally focused on sequels, but the studio has already publicly announced that if gamers love PixelJunk Shooter, they're ready to move on a sequel. Such ambitions are not limited to online commentary; once you complete PixelJunk Shooter, the game makes mention of further adventures in the underworld.
"To be continued..." reads a short on-screen teaser, following the game's epilogue sequence.
This follows Q-Games president and exec. producer Dylan Cuthbert's comments about PixelJunk Shooter.
"We hope we get the chance to make a sequel," he said.

Whatever they do I hope they do it fast. I just beat Shooter and now I'm jonesen for more.

A true sequel?! I'll take it. I figured they'd just do exp. packs, like with Monsters and Eden.

i have that game played a few levels and i thought it was great cant wait to really dive in and play
