My question is, where do you see the playstation 3 a year or two from now feature wise? It is obvious that they try to play catch up with the 360, but a lot of the features implemented seem unnecessary and/or unpolished. But yet it does everything, right? We have heard rumors of a paid premium service sometime next year, if true, what do you think that would bring to the table? Are some features like an independent dashboard (XMB), so that you could do external stuff like listen to music over the game or browse the web, even possible on the PS3? Do you think Sony might have some ideas up their sleeve that would make Microsoft envious?
On a side note, what are your opinions on locked save files for PS3? It is really frustrating that certain saves cannot be copied to an external hard-drive because I really want to make the switch to a slim but this is the sole reason I am not.
Thank You.

Last week s Feedback discussion about Valve got me to thinking how much I dislike digital distribution (Steam). I appreciate what it is, but I m the type of person who enjoys going to the store and buying a physical boxed copy to place on my trophy shelf. What are your takes on digital distribution?

This may have been covered already. But...
Do you think Valve will change their position on the PS3 now that it's picking up popularity in the states? Can Valve continue to ignore the increasing demographic of PS3 owners who want their games on the PS3?
Valve has had their excuses that range from acceptable (like, if they can't do right then they won't do it at all) to what can only be described as blatant fanboyism. Do you think it's time Valve ate their own words and brought their games over to the PS3?

What if a game like Halo:Reach was offered for free to all Xbox 360 owners and it made use of micro transactions? Different companies have talked about implementing this type of model with their games, but what if a game the size of halo took this model, would anybody be able to compete with them anymore?
Yes, I know this was talked about on IGN and that is where I got the idea for it. I would just love to hear the G4 (Feedback) Crew's opinion on it because it is actually a very interesting question.

Do you think developers and publishers give away too much when they release information about their games? Most of them pretend to hide a lot of details, but they always end up giving away the best parts. With all the videos and articles that get released about a game, I feel like I know more about it than I should.
I can understand the developers are excited for people to know about things like the pistol in AC2, some of the key scripted scenes in MW2, the limb severing mechanic in Dead Space, the propeller suit in the new Mario game, etc, but wouldn't they have been better as a surprise?
I know I could always just ignore the stuff they release, but information has a way of getting around.

The Saboteur used DLC to unlock some more adult content. Do you see this becoming a trend in the industry to get around the de facto censorship of an AO rating?

I was going to submit a question, but after reading some comments, I would like to support THEWETHINGTON's question. I have to agree with the comment and question. It would be cool if you guys could address that one.

I am both a student and a teacher, so gaming and education have a special relationship in my life. It is not always a happy relationship. On this topic, to what extent do you see video games having educational value? As well, are there specific genres that you believe to have greater educational potential? Have you had experiences in your education where games made some crucial contribution to your comprehension of some idea? And can you envision a near future in which main stream video games are part of a classroom curriculum?

Killzone 2 got a 5 out of 5 yet is not in your GOTY catagory. Is InFamous (5/5) or Borderlands (4/5) really better? I love InFamous but haven't played Borderlands because I heard the story wasn't there. Killzone 2 seems to have the best of both of these = great story, better graphics than both, and a great multiplayer. Is this getting the push because it came out in Feb and has cooled off by newer titles?

Why are people so crazy over playing games online? I myself play games to detach myself from the world and engage myself in a world far different than my own. However with XBOX LIVE and PSN the video game world is now been overcome with titles with the focus being multiplayer. Im in no position to tell people what to play. But as a result have we lost developers spending more time on the single player experience?

With onlive approaching and the well near absent marketing since e3 do you think it could challenge any of the consoles or will it wipe out the PC?
Also With the Development of engines we are seeing what i think are the last days of some of our beloved Unreal/source engines...do you think the next development is Engines that encompass 3d or engines that work extrememly well with Natal and the still unamed wand!?

If you consider that most of the new big companies are abandoning the idea of new IP's due to it not being as profitable. How hard do you guys think it will be for a developer/publisher to produce a new IP period, with the intent of making it into another franchise or having it sell well? What can we as gamers, and you guys in the industry do to help push new ip's more into the market, so we can see more of them?
