Microsoft announced today that Turn 10 Studios' acclaimed racing title Forza Motorsport 3 has sold 1 million units in its first month of sale. If you’re a fan of big flashy numbers, then you’ll be interested to know that gamers have so far logged over 6.6 million hours of online play across 64 million sessions. And what does all that time and energy amount to? Oh, I don’t know. How about 590 million miles of in-game driving?!
This news also comes on the day that Turn 10 releases its “Hot Holidays” Car Pack. For just 400 Microsoft Points, the following gorgeous rides can be yours:

I just bought Forza 3 over the weekend and really love it. Last real racing game I bought was GT2 (Mario Kart doesn't count) so this has beeen a long time coming.

Good game, but Gran Turismo has 1080p real life graphics and over 1000 cars so much superior, forza will never be able to compete period!

The DLC sounds cool. How much is 400 points? Now I kinda can't wait for GT5, although I'm gonna crash into everything. But a Porsche Panamera, I love that car and 2010 Nissan GT-R Spec V

Mr. Wiggles...I will see you at the Nurburgring. My hope is Polyphony didn't take too much of the contact out of the online play. Too many fan boys still think they can use your car to make a corner, but occasionally you have to tap the back end of the car in front of you to let him know you're there. If the situation is reversed, and I discover I can't hold the line--I'm not going to get in your way. If GT5 turns out to be as advertised, it has the potential for some really amazing experiences...enough to entice me back into playing online again.
I'm with you...I'm hoping to hang out with people interested in the racing simulation the game provides, and let the Carmageddon-types play Forza.

RROD is a idiot that does nothing but belittle people cause they made a choice to buy a damn console. He's a child that could NEVER grow up. Anyway, I havn't personally bought the game and and I'm not going to because I leave for basic next month so it would be a waste. I will on the other hand buy it first thing when I get done with all my training in July. Other than that this game doesn't just look amazing it is amazing. I played it at a friends house and all I can say is GT5 better make huge improvements besides putting a crap load of cars in. Just cause the new GT5 may have alot of tracks and weather patterns doesn't mean it will be a approachable game by people who want to get into the racing sims. You may have all the features there for a great game but the ability to jump in and just freaking race is something many people will want...and one more thing. People are freaking out about NASCAR being apart of it now. Since when did people care about NASCAR? I know alot of Americans do and I respect the sport cause I believe it to be the most difficult. Meaning that I hardly see people in 25+ cars doing 180+ mph while being just a few inches away from the other car while all the engines being exactly the same. I just hope GT5 has everything it says it has. I want to finally see some good competition.

Something Gran Tursimo is gonna have a hard time doing. Come on i got tired of waiting for a freakinging game. It's like Killzone 2. 5 freaking years and the game sucked anyway.
