The internal Microsoft division handling the future of the Halo franchise, 343 Industries, has picked up another employee from Kojima Productions: Sotaro Tojima, last seen working as the sound director on the PlayStation 3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
343 Industries announced the news through their Twitter account.
Tojima marks the second employee 343 Industries has plucked from the Kojima Productions ranks. Early on, 343 Industries brought on Ryan Payton as creative director. Previously, Payton was an assistant producer working alongside designer Hideo Kojima at his Konami studio.
It's widely rumored 343 Industries is working on the Halo title to follow Halo: Reach. 343 Industries has also overseen the launch of Halo Waypoint and other extensions of the brand.

MSG4 had great music! I'm really sad that they didnt say with kojima he has more talent than the whole 343 industries combined. But, kojima will still be able to make a fantastic game without them. He will somehow found people that are 5x better than the last person and blow me away again.

good choice in the person to compose the soundtrack, I mean the music that I heard while I played the demo for MGS4 was just very well done, I mean it would be on a top 3 or 5 list of best composed music for video games.

Um Xbox is standing on Halo as its only system seller? What? Hello Gears of War 1 was the main reason Xbox 360 got sold in 2005 and 2006. Gears 2 Helped even more fater Halo. mass Effect is a third game franchise Xbox has. Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 and Forza and so on. Ps3 fanboys. Pathetic...

halo doesnt deserve someone that worked on such an epic game, i hope he still works on MGS games in the future cause MGS4s soundtrack was amazing, along with the rest of the game....i kinda wanna go play MGS4 now

Tojima's a real talent.
They must really be trying to create an excellent experience with Reach or whatever project they're working on with people like Ryan Payton and Sotaro Tojima with their experiences with Metal Gear Solid 4's control scheme and sound work respectively.
