When Konami Europe confirmed a late-May release date for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which came shortly after Konami Japan announced mid-March release date over there, it was inevitable the American side of Konami would soon follow suit. That news came through just now, with Konami revealing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker lands on PSP in the United States on May 25.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker picks up where Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater left off. I wasn't a huge fan of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, but the third installment was a personal favorite, easily rivaling the original game (we're talking the original Metal Gear Solid, mind you).

Metal Gear Solid 3 is my personal favorite entry in the series. I didn't like the direction of the story in MGS4. In the previous games when you got a new weapon or item it changed what you were able to accomplish and how easily, MGS4 gave you a bunch of guns that really didn't change how you played.

Sorry Patrick, but I'm going to have to disagree with you.
MGS4 is by far the greatest (modern) game ever made.
The game on all levels is beautifully polished.
The story seems hard for some people but if you really sink your teeth into it, you'll find a masterpiece.

You didn't like MGS4? What the hell is wrong with you? I guess you aren't a fan of the MGS series. Because MGS4 was a huge huge game, filled with content just for fans. Old characters coming back into the game, visiting old places like SHADOW MOSES ISLAND! You sir, are mentally insane for not liking it.

Sweet! Finally I can find out what happens after Portable Ops.
As for MGS3 and MGS4...I loved both.
To me MGS3 story and ending was a masterpiece. An as for MGS4, gameplay, story, and stealth camo simply blew my mind.

Forgive me if Im mistaken... but doesnt Portable Ops pick up where Snake Eater left off? This looks like it happens after Outer Heaven was established. Either way sweet merciful crap I want it!!
