Rock Band Unplugged has been receiving weekly downloadable content just like the rest of the Rock Band franchise, but that's over as of this week. When the week came and went without an announcement of new Rock Band Unplugged content, Joystiq contacted Harmonix, who told the blog the weekly content updates were over.
Future content hasn't been ruled out, it just won't happen on a weekly basis anymore. Harmonix said it's possible Rock Band Unplugged will receive content as "part of event releases."
