PixelJunk Shooter Confirmed For PlayStation Network On Dec. 10

The next PlayStation Network game from Q-Games, PixelJunk Shooter, now has a release date: Thursday, December 10. That means you have just over a week to prepare for PixelJunk Shooter's release, a game many at G4 (me! me! me!) are very much looking forward to.

An official price hasn't been announced, but Q-Games president and PixelJunk Shooter executive producer Dylan Cuthbert assured readers on the PlayStation blog that if he had to choose between $9.99 and $14.99, he would be leaning towards the former.

"I’m pretty sure it will be the cheaper of those two pricepoints," he said.

There won't be a demo on December 10th, but Cuthbert said one is coming.

"No demo to begin with," he said, "but we are busy knocking one up for those who haven’t been persuaded it’s good enough for a blind purchase yet :)"

Q-Games has been one of the most successful and prolific and developers on PlayStation Network, having previously produced PixelJunk Monsters, PixelJunk Eden and PixelJunk Racers.

pixel junk monsters is brilliant in its simplicity as i'm sure this one will be. i still play it to this day. the e3 video was very exciting for this one.

I love PJ games, but I have spent all the money I am going to spend on games until Heavy Rain or God of War 3, whichever comes first. I am not including those random games or PSN cards that fall into my lap as \"my own money spent\". So hopefully Dec 25 I will be able to play PJ Shooter!

sweet we get a date for this game i know what im getting on the 10th :) PixelJunk eden was a supper fun game i know this game will be just as fun 2

I've been anxiously awaiting this since I first heard news of it. I loved Eden and Monsters, and this one looks to easily one-up them. I CANT WAIT!!!

Really looking forward to this, I really loved PixelJunk Eden. Haven't played any of the other PixelJunk games but have heard good things.
