While Rock Band is the undisputed king of DLC (Over 1,000 tracks available!), Guitar Hero will soon have something that Rock Band can only dream about. I'm talking about early 90s art-rock outfit Pavement's single near-hit "Cut Your Hair."
Pavement's work will be joined by other rockers and almost-rockers (Spoon, Nada Surf, OneRepublic, Taylor Swift), but seriously, Pavement is the clear winner here. There's also a totally free version of "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" on tap on the 22nd.
The rest of Guitar Hero's Winter schedule is below the cut.
December 3 -- The Fall of Troy Track Pack, $5.49 (440 Microsoft points; 550 Wii Points)
- "Panic Attack" by The Fall of Troy
- "A Classic Case of Transference" by The Fall of Troy
- "Single" by The Fall of Troy
December 12 -- OneRepublic Track Pack, $5.49 (440 Microsoft points; 550 Wii Points)
- "All The Right Moves" by OneRepublic
- "Everybody Loves Me" by OneRepublic
- "Mercy" by OneRepublic
December 17 -- Indie Rock Track Pack, $5.49 (440 Microsoft points; 550 Wii Points)
- "Hi-Speed Soul" by Nada Surf
- "Cut Your Hair" by Pavement
- "Sister Jack" by Spoon
December 22 -- Celebrity New Years Track Pack, $5.49 (440 Microsoft points; 550 Wii Points)
- "Our Song" by Taylor Swift
- "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5
- "New" by No Doubt
December 22 -- Christmas Rock Pack
- "Hark The Herald Angels Sing" by Steve Ouimette

\"CAREER! CAREER! CAREER!\" Yeah that song is pretty bad-ass.
Korzo
Pavement is the only band I actually like on that list, and personally I think they could have picked a better song. Here's hoping that Rock Bands releases don't fall short this month

All hail the b-sides! The music industry fails again.

HOW IS THIS NEWS!!!!

I feel for anyone who relies on GH DLC I recent bought Bot GH 3 and GHWT and I was tempted to buy some of there DLC then I though it over and said what the point these games will never be in my Heavy Rotation and the songs I'll buy will be on RB sooner or later so whats the point.

I see a lot of people screaming fail, but I'm REALLY excited to see a Fall of Troy trackpack. I don't know if this is available for Rock Band, but as a fan of FoT I must say that I am pleased.

Hmmm......Its nice they have OneRepublic finally but those aren't the songs I'd pick, and its awesome for more FoT.
That's probably my least favorite Nada Surf song though.

no surprise here guys move along. cant wait for the RB dlc like always.

GH is the only music game that makes me say \"Who the hell are these guys, can they not afford any good songs or are they just retarded.\" Its official GH has gone straight to hell after WT came out. GH3 was great but after that I don't know what the hell happend
what0080
With the SOLE exception of No Doubt's \"New\" (which I have for Rock Band 1/2) This list fails hard, fast and unapologetically epic.
RinceJester
Seems like another month where I will not be getting GH DLC
gambit1023
once again...judging by the dlc...I am so glad I'm an RB player than GH!!! If I was someone who bought GH I'd be demanding my money back.
Notafanboythatiknow
I do not even now who these bands are; FAIL.
