The PS3 has really come into its own lately, and many of the exclusives this year pushed the hardware to its limits and really showed us what the console was capable of.

no one cares which system you think is better. its called an opinion people. you can have every system ever, that doesn't make you THE source for which system is best. i know people who enjoy the dreamcast more than any of the next gen systems. stop trying to express your clearly superior game reviewing skills (which are clearly unbiased) and just enjoy the absolutely ridiculous list of games that just came out. i think everyone can clearly see what a competitive market does for the consumer, which is all any of us should care about. =)

ps3 sucks i got it the day it came out and i rather of spent that money on a second xbox for my living room than have that piece of cr system and for the people that talk about xbox why dont you go buy one and upgrade your system and for the ones that say 50 bucks for online stop being cheap its only 50 ps3 is free because it sucks and they proved that the day mw2 came out and the online crashed

Only games worth getting on Ps3 are Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 this year. all the others suck. next year is GT5 and GOW3 and MAG. Thats about it. I could give a crap about FFVersus. I have Gta stories,L4D2,Halo 3:ODST and Forza 3 for Xbox this year and Alan Wake,Crackdown 2,Halo Reach,Natal,Doom 4 and many more next year. You game nerds raving about how much ps3 and xbox are better need girlfriends. Its a game. Just enjoy it.

Working on beating \"Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, which means afterwards I will only need to beat Demon souls to complete this list. I'll probably play AC2 first though.

I absolutely agree with this list and it is a big surprize that someone (!) SOMEONE did not forgot about Demons Soul. Thats actually a big surprize that someone have brains.

hey im a die hard nintendo fan, but this year I need some more good games. Im going ps3. I want to get modern warfare but I never really seen it on any lists. I have played it before. and I liked to play my fps on my ps2 so it would be the same for ps3. should I get the game? is it good on ps3?

I only got two of the games from that list.
Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2.
Killzone 2 was my first ever FPS and it was fun but I truly need to spend some time on that.
Uncharted 2 is hands down my favorite game of this year. Just played Uncharted this year and I fell in love with it and waited for the sequel.
Gonna try to get the remaining three, but that looks like a monumental task on my budget. T_T

I feel you on that one, it seems like it pains them to say something nice or admit when PS3 has a good game. They pretty much had no choice but to recognize the PS3 this year, they dominated the competition.They will continue to dominate next year too, nothing good on Wii, PC or 360 that could remotely touch PS3's exclusive line up.
I'm not a fanboy, I play 360 too, but man the exclusives for 2009 and 2010 look really bland for 360. They're gonna slap another halo together, mean i'm pretty sure we are all halo'd out by now, I know I am.

the problem u had with the controls is you probly keep the default controller settings on for killzone i'd recomend changing the setting to the third one its the same setup as call of duty makes the game more fun if you are used to cod settings i thought it was an awesome game but i knoew alot of people had trouble getting used to the default setting but u can change it they have like five settings.

While my PS3 has experienced much more use this year, I have to disagree with one of the most hyped games of the year: Killzone 2. I hate it. After playing Halo 3 and ODST and MW 1 & 2, trying to adapt to those ridiculous controls is nothing more than an exercise in masochistic torture. Maybe I just can't adapt to the PS3 controller for FPS, since I get all my FPS on 360 because of the superior controller (for the FPS genre), though I had no issues with Resistance 2. Regardless, I loathe KZ2, but love many other PS3 titles, both exclusive and multi-platform (except MW2, which keeps my 360 humming... er, screeching, when I'm not playing everything else on the PS3). I can't wait for Mass Effect 2, though, so I gotta finish Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed II (on PS3) before it drops.

I am waiting on the God of War collection for Christmas. I got UC2, R&C on my own, I refuse to spend any more out of my own pocket until after new years lol. Gaming isnt cheap. Anyways, at this point, I am looking forward to Heavy Rain and God of War 3 the most, im not much of a racing fan but I might jump into GT5 when it comes out, idk about that one yet. Depend on how fat my wallet is I guess.
