It's been too long since Croteam dropped a new Serious Sam game. A proper third entry in the "oh my god there are 900 enemies at once" series is in the works, but before moving forward, Croteam went back to the original and came back with Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, a remake being released on the PC on November 24. It'll also make an appearance through Xbox Live Arcade sometime next month, but a concrete date hasn't been announced.

As much as I enjoyed the original, I sadly don't think the game is worth it again. The character of San us just a bit too unsophisticated for today's gamer.
