When you're flipping around the channels, looking for something (anything) to watch, you know you stop on action-oriented reality programming every time. Relax, everyone does. That's why we at G4 are proud to present Campus PD, a brand new program detailing real, college police work premiering on the network on Wednesday, December 9 at 11 PM ET.
From policing parties and security issues, to keeping the peace at sports events and arresting possible suspects, ride with the Campus PD as they tackle the ongoing challenge of keeping students safe. Depicting university life from the perspective of the law enforcement professionals who police them, this ground-breaking new series presents a real-life account of these modern-day campus heroes. As they gear up for a shift, these courageous cops know they’re in for a few surprises!
The series heads to five college towns across the country including Tallahassee, FL, San Marcos, TX, Cincinnati, OH, Chico, CA, and Greenville, NC. It takes viewers deep inside the internal lives of the law enforcement professionals policing a town of fun-loving college kids. It isn’t easy, but these dedicated officers love their jobs, and wouldn’t have it any other way.
“It’s no secret that high energy police shows are very popular among male viewers. With Campus PD, we join real police teams and head to college towns, where the students – and their everyday lives – will prove highly relatable to G4’s core young male audience” said Neal Tiles, President, G4.
Campus PD premieres this December, with an initial run of ten episodes. It's available in HD, too. Check out the official site for more details.

To the editors/authors of campus pd. "In Georgia possession of cocaine is punishable by up to 15 years in jail." The correct terminology is prison. Please look up the differences between prison and jail!

Just watched my first episode. Saw a constable, Eve, I believe his name is, arrest a woman because she didn't come running the moment he told her to come. People are not dogs, and if they have had a few drinks they may not totally understand the situation. The 21 year old woman was doing nothing wrong but sitting talking with friends. Eve singled her out and had her hauled off to jail all because she didn't give him a straight answer. In fact he didn't even let her explain the answer. Then, charging her with a 2nd degree misdemeanor and hauling her to jail. I don't understand how putting a mark on this individual was justified or even necessary. She was very polite and caused no issues. After seeing this, it just goes to show how some police officers have no common sense, and are unfit to wear a badge. In the same episode, there is a individual who was much more rude to an officer, and nothing was done, the officer completely shrugged it off, complete inconsistencies, which i feel is a cause of grief between people and the police. Consider this the first and last episode of this show I watch.

Everyone at some point in their life have gone to a party, acted a little rowdy, or has done something that the students in the show are getting in trouble for. Most of the events are not even out of control, it's usually a noise complaint or someone walking home drunk; some of the students even feel bad about it and apologize to the police. I would go so far as to say that it's a form of exploitation making the younger generation look bad - mostly at the expense of the demographic that its appealing to, anyone over the age of 40. It's very ridiculous that G4 decided to make a show about petty crimes; I enjoyed the show "COPS" where they arrest real criminals (murderers/rapists). But really... a bunch of students hanging out drinking... this makes for some real BS TV. I hope the network loses their younger audience, I won't be watching.

Richard the student in Arkansas is the man! Dumb cop took him down for no reason whatsoever. The guy couldn't have resisted if he wanted to!

I own the business where your chopper came down. It landed in my parking space. I was just there 5 minutes before it came down and had just filled my mini-van with fuel. If your team had landed on my car, there probably would have been a fire and your crew wouldn't have been rescued. So I am very grateful that they survived! I differ from most of the comments above. I know it was an accident and that no one intentionally set out to put anyone at risk. Please pass my best wishes along to the survivors and let them know my prayers are with them for a speedy recovery. The blades sliced through the bedroom of a student two floors above my office and he fortunately was in the living room watching TV with his girlfriend. No injuries on the ground either! If I were one of the four in the aircraft or the student above me, I would be saying, "OK God, you got my attention! what do you have in mind?"

Hope you jerks are satified... You idiots crashed a helicopter 1 block away from the IUP college campus in Indiana,Pa. Hopefully no one in the copter were injured but more importantly you put those college students in grave danger... I have 2 kids who attend IUP and your copter was flying low...barely above the power lines half of the day...many of the students felt that it was a safety issue due to the low flying...talk about completely ruining the last week at college for many of these students not to mention terrorizing the entire campus... you are a disgrace...this is not freedom of the press... you are creating a dangerous environment... one which encourages students to drink just because you are in town...not to mention almost killing off students, town residents and your own employees just for a story...BAD journalism!!!!!

Way to go g4, u have a show for people who couldn't finish collage trying to punish those who can. nothin like busting people for having fun and enjoying life when there wu supposed to. Good thing I went to a school where the "cops" knew what they were there for, to help the students!

I want to place a complaint about the police officer from Las Cruces PD from the episode from 3/9. He opened the door to a persons house without permission or a warrant and then shoved a person walking away- both of which are illegal... how do i need to go about doing this?

The cops on this show are the biggest jokes. I just watched a girl get arrested for literally nothing, for saying "Ohio State" when they asked where they were from. Sooooo silly.

Jared loughner and people like him should shoot at the POPO and not politicians or federal judges. LOL
fuukthecops
The cops on this show are such jokes. They don't do shiz for anybody. Cops should be worrying about the murderers & rapists, not college kids drunk & being loud. These cops think there so tough when there manipulating these rich little punks. I wanna see one of these cops get put in the hood thn we'll see whos tough.

Nice to see a whole series dedicated to people that don't know their rights. Please visit my channel on youtube so these ridiculous things don't happen to you or your friends. I saw two people cited on the episode just now that should have asserted their rights and been done with those officers. The whole arresting people for talking or swearing is complete BS and a clear violation of their rights.

In a recent episode the campus pd had detained a 20 year old hooker. She stated she had been hooking for her pimp since she was 13. The officers eventually just sent her back to her pimp even after there was plenty of evidence the pimp had beaten her with a wire the last time the cops had detained her. No investigation into the pimp providing thirteen year old girls for jons to rape. No offer of help to a victim that had been raped for years and told thepolice she was unable to escape the pimp. THANKS ALOT G4 you really dropped the ball. Everything that happens to this young lady, from the moment your cameras recorded this nightmare, is on your shoulders.

I'm only watching it cause I think one of the male cops is hot XD

To all the nerds/losers, LISTEN, G4 is trying to get you to put down the Xbox controller for 30 minutes and see what is going on around the country. But I guess anything outside your bedroom door is way too foreign for you. I did not know you had to be rich in order to drink?!?!?!?!? You nerds/losers are just as rich spending $70 on one damn game. Others just decide to spend it on a case beer and socialize with other human beings, and no I do not mean through a microphone, I mean face to face. But I can see why you would not want to socialize face to face because there could be a female present somewhere. but G4 play on with Campus PD, it is good entertainment.

please cancel this show , or stop pumping these toy cops head up to go and harass college kids.. i cannot see how inferiority complected wannabe cops negatively impacting scholars lives can be entertaining. i'm glad this show is raising awareness of the ridiculousness of societal taboos. drugs. is altering your state of consciousness one of the freedoms we sacrifice for order? a realization is in order. it is time for humanity to evolve. i would hope this show is step in that direction.
