To accompany today's official unveiling of IO Interactive's Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, we have some new surveillance-camera-style trailers for the game. Eidos has said that they are aiming to bring “a fresh perspective to the words ‘intensity’ and ‘realism’ in video games,” and judging from these trailers, I’d say they are well on their way to doing just that. There is something truly unnerving and unsettling about the videos, and if that can be faithfully represented in the actual game, then count me in.
See what I mean? It has a very Manhunt kind of quality to it, because of the whole surveillance camera perspective, and that just adds so much tension and grittiness to them. Am I wrong?
