Earlier i heard that Cody, Guy from alpha Dudley, Mokoto from 3rd strike was going to finish off the roster can anyone confirm or deny this?

Correction Seth has said time and time again. AT LEAST!!!!!!! 8 NEW CHARACTERS. Now the number of new to returning characters? Also this game is still in the tweaking stages. Seth also said they don't know if Dee-Jay's uppercut will be a charge, movement, or button slap. So you can only make a smart guess as to who is coming back. I think they are still making characters right now. Time restraints caused Dee Jay and Big T to not make the last game, as well as bonus stages. The good news is that GameStop has a release date as end of March. However Capcom has stated that the game will be released sometime in SPRING 2010. That is a very safe bet that the game will be released in 5 to 8 months, that also gives Capcom time to tweak and test all the characters as well as the online modes. I think that there will be a release of the game then many patches one after another to fix the online ZOO of modes coming are way. This is the only game I am hyped for in 2010. Capcom I love you.

Hell yeah Deejayis awesome! There better be 3rd Strike characters in or there will be blood! I hope they keep Deejay's machine gun punch as a charge move.

Dee Jay, Juri, T Hawk...and who else? I just read in Game Informer that there are 8 for sure, perhaps more, but I doubt it. They have a good amount left to announce. Does anyone know which other ones might be, or will be in it?

From the rumors, it seems that there is one new character to reveal left, and 3/4 each from both the Alpha and 3rd Strike games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but The SF Staff is putting 6 new characters in Super.
So that makes the current three, plus _____ and _____ and _____ are left.
Rumor has it they are putting a character from each old game back in SFIV.
Lastly, The SFIV people commented in their Japanese blog if they were to put any new characters in SFIV(Before SSFIV was announced, of course) one of the top developer ones was Ibiki.
