2K and Gearbox promised more content following Borderlands' launch last month, and they've certainly delivered. 2K dropped into our offices yesterday to show off upcoming DLC pack The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, which launches on Xbox Live and PSN shortly. Brian Leahy, our in-house Borderlands reviewer, got hands-on with it. Here's a snippet of what he had to say:
"My hands-on time was brief, but I was able to fight several of the pack’s new zombie enemies and experience their unholy ability to swarm you from all angles. The undead legions are extremely resistant to corrosive damage, but burn nicely from fire and explosives. Zombies can be dismembered and will maintain their relentless pursuit of brains without legs, even crawling toward you as a torso. Upon dying, their brains will pop-up into the air and can be collected for a future quest. Try to catch them before they hit the ground!"
Looting for brains? 50 new quests? Yes indeed.

Normaly in 1 playtrought your barely over lvl 30, well for me and for everyone I know that played it so no need to raise lvl cap.And as someone else said more lvl means more point for skill and everyone will be cap in evey skills , unless they add more skills.
Oh and btw I played fallout 3 and all his dlc and its not even close to be similar with Boderlands . completly 2 different games.

i wouldnt say better then fallout 3, but if you've played through both then u would realize they are two very different games i wouldnt even compare them except if you like one youll most likely like the other one as well
as for the DLC if gearbox can keep their promises with some DLC then they will deff keep my attention for future games they make. gearbox is deff on my list of game developers to watch in the future, cause borderlands was an amazing game and with DLC its only going to get better.
and with 50 new questions i also hope to see a new level cap, even if its 55 cause once ur up that high it takes forever to get 5 levels and the 50 quests might not even be enough. but i understand if their is no level cap change because if they make it higher then thats 1 or 2 more upgrades you can max and that lowers the diversity of hunters/soldiers/sirens/berser kers you see so it would make sence if they cant up the cap unless they add new abilities, in which case by all means add new abilities and up the level cap!! :D

OMG Stop compareing this to Fallout bc they are not even similar games Borderlands is and FPS with soem RPG element while Fallout is a RPG with FPS elements so just F'ing stop comparing them

This game was WAY better than fallout3. More levels to gain, not so many load times, and MUCH FASTER PACE. Load times were alittle slow though, just not as many. In the DLC, can you level past 50? If not, then whaqts the point of the 50 new quest? Just wondering.

No thanks Borderlands was a big let down for me . I would have felt a little different if everyone hadn't compared it to Fallout 3 so much . It just got real boring after the 5-10 hours with out a story to keep it interesting . The shooting mechanics were fun but not enough to merit all the praise its been getting. Its a solid 3 in my personal opinion .

8-10 hours more gameplay, new levelscreatures, and game tactics. $10! Keep it coming Gearbox...and I'll let Randy can talk all the crap he wants
