You don't see many video games try to be funny because humor's not easy. Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard managed to get a few chuckles out of the few that checked it out, but the game wasn't very good, so no one played it. A game has to be a good game, too. For the sequel (it's more like a spin-off), Matt Hazard: Blood, Bath And Beyond, D3 Publisher is only targeting Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network with a more simplistic offering.
I recently had a chance to play Matt Hazard: Blood, Bath And Beyond and tossed my thoughts in a preview over here. I'm not totally convinced about the game yet, but it's showing promise.
Also, it did make me laugh a little.
