The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band will be available for download to The Beatles: Rock Band on November 17th on the 360 and Wii, and on the 19th for the PS3.
Sgt. Pepper's is regarded by many rock critics as the high-point of The Beatles musical career, their greatest album and the greatest single album in Rock History. The Sgt. Peppers pack, combined with tracks that shipped with The Beatles: Rock Band will complete the album. There are seven new tracks, including such hits as "She's Leaving Home" and "Within You Without You," but, seriously, all these songs are great. Here's the full listing:
- Fixing A Hole
- She's Leaving Home
- Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite!
- Within You Without You
- When I'm Sixty-Four
- Lovely Rita
- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
- A Day In The Life
The full track pack will cost you $13.49, while individual tracks will be the standard $1.99.
This release is just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays, where many families will be brought together by the power of The Beatles music, or at least find a diverting and pleasant way to avoid speaking to each other too much.
*These rock critics are wrong. The best Beatles album is Revolver. The best rock albums ever are The Clash's London Calling, then The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, then Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited, followed by Sgt. Pepper's.

the Best Beatles album has the same answer that favorite Beatle gets...you can't make a mother choose her favorite child (or at least with people or the kids around), and you can't make me choose my favorites (no matter what!). Its the truth :)

The best Beatles album ever is Meet With the Beatles on Abbey Road with a Revolver.

The Sgt. Pepper album caused Brian Wilson to abandon the album he had been working on for six months, Smile. How many other albums have made someone with that level of musical genius give up?

If Sgt. Pepper is your 4th best rock album... and the 3 before it are The Clash, Beach Boys, and Bob... then wouldn't that make Sgt. Pepper the best Beatles album, by default?? I mean can you give those 4 best rock albums and then say the best Bob Dylan album is Blood On The Tracks? Confusing logic, SJ.

I just hope all the Beatles albums eventually get to The Beatles: Rock Band and faster than 1 album a month; every single Beatles song deserves it...
Long live the best rock band in human history

Awesome Sgt Pepper is one of my fav Beatles records.

I'm not a Beatles fan, but I do love Rock Band. I'll eventually pick up the game but I doubt I'll purchase any DLC. I don't know ANY of these songs.

False. The best Beatles album is not Sergeant Pepper's, nor is it Revolver. It is Abbey Road.

@SmarterThanYou
well thanks for the constructive comment then. If you don't care, don't read it, and CERTAINLY don't comment about it.
I wonder if this means the pre-order codes I got will work now?

Stephen....did you hear about the guy claims he was knocked out in the desert and woke in an alternate dimension where the Beatles never broke up? Crazy story, but the guys claims to have stolen a cassette of material and posted it online.
SmarterThanYou
Don't care. The Beatles are overrated. Back to MW2...
