Nathan Drake's going to have better luck at retail the second time around, it seems. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has already sold over a million copies. Sony Computer Entertainment America's senior VP of business development Phil Rosenberg announced the news just a little while ago at the BMO Capital Markets "Digital Entertainment Conference" in New York.
"As of last week, we've already sold over a million copies [of Uncharted 2] in just a couple weeks on the market," said Rosenberg.
Naughty Dog is currently working on downloadable content for Uncharted 2, but the studio hasn't announced what exactly they have in the works. More single-player, please!

MW2 has absolutly nothing to do with this story, yet people continue to bring it up. Big deal guys, anyone could have told you that game would sell a bajillion copies. Oh, and let's not forget Halo ODST right? No, let's forget about it. Because that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS STORY.
Unreal. XBox groupies do nothing but talk about how much better their system is, and talk about how many more people own one. Well, then it should be no surprise that more 360 exclusive titles are sold, right? Because the user base is bigger? So when a Sony title does good, like Uncharted, it's a hypocritical stance to say "Well, ODST sold THIS many copies" when your other arguement falls under the "Xbox is better, everyone has one, nyeah nyeah nyeah".
Phew. Ok, done. I'd love to see more one player stuff as DLC for this amazing game, but it'll most likely be some sort of crappy multi-player arena's. Oh well. The game is incredible, and everyone who has a PS3 should at least give it a rent.

Not bad for one month of sales. 600,000 for the two weeks of October is really impressive. naughty Dog has earned the Game of the Year award in all respects.

1 million sold is a milestone for any game and to those that ask "Didn't Halo/Call of Duty sell the same in 1 day?"

also, even pokemon doesn't sell 1 million copies in japan until day 2/3.

IMO Uncharted 2 is far and away Game of the Year. I've never, ever been so engaged in a game. Simply amazing.

Doesn't change the fact that its good buddy, also Call of Duty has a larger installed base.... lets go look at how many copies Call of duty 2 sold in the same timespan on only 1 platform.

An awesome game. IMO its the GOTY. I really like several other titles but this is far and away the best game of the year.
