Bully

Maybe it's due to my own high school career at a small, Catholic school on the East Coast, but I loved Rockstar's Bully. Expanding the open-world concept to explore the strange twilight world of adolescence was a minor stroke of genius, so it's nice to know they might be working on a sequel.

Bully 2 was mentioned, briefly, in an interview with game composer Shawn Lee. Website The Gaming Liberty asked: "So far you’ve worked on two games, The Getaway and Bully, would you be open to composing for other games in the future?" Lee answered, “Yes. It looks like I will be doing the soundtrack for Bully 2 in the not so distant future."

If a Bully 2 actually comes together, will it be a "true" sequel? With the same main character going off to college? Or are we talking more of a re-boot -- still set in a boarding school, with a new crop of students. I gotta imagine (and hope) it's the latter. College is cool and all, but doesn't offer the same frustrations and pressures that made Bully such an interesting little game. I mean, when you're paying to be educated you don't really have the same relationship to authority that you have when you're forced to be somewhere.

Feel free to theorize in our comment section.
