Super Street Fighter IV New Modes Trailer »

It's looking more and more like Super Street Fighter IV is becoming the game everyone wanted Street Fighter IV to be. Additionally, Capcom seems to be bringing back a bunch of unexpected classic Street Fighter hallmarks and overhauling systems that could have easily stayed the way they were.

Are you being convinced by Capcom's argument in favor of releasing Super Street Fighter IV next year?

The publisher just released this new trailer highlighting what's new.

And all characters will be unlocked from the start, no grinding necessary!

you wouldn"t need the first copy of sf4. ssf4 have all the characters from the first sf4 plus a few characters. better online lobby setup, watch the video.

I didn't pick up the first release of SFIV. Is this going to be a full-on stand-alone game, like SFIV + more awesome? Do you need to have a copy of the first SFIV? Fill me in - apparently I've been living under a rock. Well, playing other games.

My mind is clear now, IM SO GETTING THIS GAME

As for the modes here are my 2 cents (or should I say 4 cents)

    1. Sounds cool (they say that studying your opponent is the quickest way to victory)

2 . In my opinion useless

    3. A great option it will go far

    4. AWESOME!! this brings me fun memories

Oh and for the guys and girls complaining that "Super" should have been DLC 3 words: GET OVER IT at least you wont pay full price I thik this game will be 39.99 the most

Krypton you could have easily been aborted. But your mother sucked it up and gave up her party days. You know It could never have been DLC! It would be a freaking nightmare to patch over lay and add, plus everything that is DLC content can be extracted and modded. Remember halo 2 map packs? How everyone just modded the maps! Imagine that same thing with new characters then times it by a hundred. Ranked matches would be a joke.

Do some research before you open your yap again it's people like you that give street fighter a bad name. Besides patches and update are VERY costly. WestDaniel has it right you should listen to him. Wow a person that knows what they are talking about, on G4? Your my hero!

No it couldn't have been DLC, the team working on it already said this update was too large to be DLC and would be incompatible with the current system anyway. If you took all the individual updates to Street Fighter 2 over the years, this update is still several times larger than all those updates COMBINED.

Can they fix the terrible voice acting? Because that would be nice.

    @morgan2042

agreed, and like one of the guys said earlier these features should be standard for ALL online fighting games especially with a top of the line netcode *looks at namco*

Same ol same ol, all they did was finally give the fans what should have already been in the last game, features that I might add exist in many other online fighters, so of which have been around for 3 or more years.

But at least they didnt stick to their greedy habits and charge full price for this, otherwise Id be laughing.

This trailer is showing only a portion of what is begin updated to be included in Super Street Fighter 4. Although these changes are without doubt welcome, they certainly aren't the only ones and the rerelease will undoubtedly be worth the pickup.
