Clowns Line Up For Video Game

The  clowns you see above were apparently lined-up this morning at the Best Buy in New York City in order to buy a new video game. No, not Modern Clownfare 2. Instead, they were interested in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, a new DS and Wii game that came out today.

I assumed the nightmarish harlequin tong was hired by the Ringling Bros. to garner a little cheap publicity, but my wife, who attended Ringling Brothers Clown College (for reals) isn't so sure.

"I don't think those are 'real' Ringling Clowns," Mrs. Johnson told me. "The makeup is right, but the costumes and attitude are not, especially for a public event. I'm guessing those are Clown Enthusiasts. If Ringling had paid people to wait in line for a video game, you would bet they would have done it right. There would be an elephant and jugglers and CIRCUS."

I still think Ringling's PR department is trying to garner a little publicity by sending paid clowns to wait in line, and I, for one, am not going to give them the satisfaction of posting their picture and talking about the circus game on this blog... oh, crap. Too late for that. Anyway, enjoy your nightmares.. .there are more terrifying pics at the source link below!

Yes, they must be bought and paid for, because no REAL video game customer would actually wait in line for yet another *sigh* crappy Nintendo shovelware game like this.

Oh my the Clown underground railroad. No doubt they were much dismayed when Cookie from Bozo went to the big, well, little car in the sky. LMAO This just peaked my day gentleman, sheer ludicrousity - if it ain't a word it should be!

Why do I suddenly get the feeling that night time at the Johnson house is like Paranormal Activity, only SJW is staring at him with a red rubber nose and clown make up. *Shivers*

This is a new discovery regarding SJW.

Steve just regaled us with stories about clowns that he's discovered through her.

    No joke. I just ROFLed.

It's okay, Steve. My wife second comments everything I say too. It's just part of it. Give up the appearance of being an expert, even on your own blog postings. If my wife could I'm sure she'd come into work with me and when I say it takes me a couple days to do a project she'd correct me, "No it doesn't. You told me that you spent about 2 hours on the last project and played the online Dragon Age flash game for the next day and a half." We are the victims of our own fallen-for psuedo experts-by-association.

I stand by my statement though. They may be "real" clowns, but there would not be one moment of time in the public eye that they would not be ON. And it there are people taking pictures (I assume the photographer is with a bunch of other photographers) they should be hamming it up and "playing to the fourth balcony." I see a buncha tired clowns walking into a store. that girl with her tongue out and not "selling" razzing someone would get fired. Sky is the limit for making fun of people, but you had better sell it.

What's worse, that Ringling Bros felt they needed to release shovelware, or that they decided to pay terrifying clowns to drive any customers away that wanted to purchase said ware.
