Dragon Age: Origins

BioWare’s epic fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins has been out for almost a week now, and just in case the game wasn’t occupying 100 percent of your time, BioWare has gone ahead and released the PC toolset to give all you skilled community members the chance to tell your very own mythical tales.

Thanks to camera, voice and lip-synch controls, the combat and creature AI tools, and a full character creator, you can create your very own cut-scenes, quests and campaigns. Once you're ready to share your epic fantasy stories with other players, you can upload them via BioWare’s Social Network. The toolset is only available for the PC, and it will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Have you tried out the toolset yet? How are you finding it?

I was thinking of making a Lore quest mod based on the Orlesian Occupation. Or make a "house" mod that appeals to players. It'd probably be a castle with it's own Arena. I'm probably gonna need to download Warden's Keep for an idea how to start it though.

The toolset itself is freaking amazing. Much easier to use than TES:IV Oblivion's toolset. Unfortunately Oblivion has many other resources that expanded the toolset itself tenfold such as the Mod Manager and the Script Extender.

Problem is bioware didn't release any getting started tutorials the ones they have reference other tutorials, which assume you know the toolset. I'm not new to modding but I have no idea how to even get started with that thing. So I'm waiting a couple weeks till user made tutorials come out.

I would like to see someone at Xplay give the 360 DLC achievement glitch a little love, then maybe MS, Bioware or EA will give us some kind of response.

If someone could make a experience half of what the game was i will buy it for the PC. Own it on 360 and i can say it IS the greatest game ever made.
