The Interwebs have a long and storied history of providing nothing but factually accurate information, so I’m going to trust that these recently leaked images of Halo: Reach, Bungie’s next (and final) installment in the Halo series, are in fact the real McCoy (or they could be fake. Either one).
The point is, someone posted the pics on a message board, claiming the images were snagged during a visit to Microsoft headquarters. In addition to showing off a variety of weapons (new and old), the screens reveal a new HUD that apparently “lists teammate names as well as shows what ‘perks’ players are carrying.” As Koku Gamer points out, three of these supposed perks are “sprinting,” “cloaking,” and “hologram.”
It’s hard to draw any real conclusions about the game based on these blurry images, and considering it will most likely be a while before Bungie drops some solid info about the game, take these screens for what they are: a potential/brief glimpse of a game that will be out in the future.

if they are so great is halo really that important that you stop playing these so called great games because if i said halo was better than said game i would be playing it now instead of looking up a game i thought was inferior

The only thing to take away from camera phone screens off a monitor is that Bungie is throughouly testing the games.
My wish list would be for them to dump the Halo 3 engine, and opt for Unreal.

you know what i find funny i went over to the grand turismo 6 article and the comments were all about hating Microsoft instead of actually talking about the game and comparing games and talking about how the 360's engine is out of date man fanboys have no shame they are sad pitiful people who don't even play the games they buy and brag about 95% of the time they just come on g4.com and bash other games it's simple if you DON'T LIKE HALO GET OFF THIS HALO TOPIC LOSER'S go play the games you like :P

I hope that Theater mode gets perfected. Let us rewind anytime, with a "true" rewind feature like Skate's. Remove the limits on saved films and screenshots. Give us filters built-in to Theater mode to change how pictures come out, so we don't need to use Forge to start with. And give Forge not just glue but undo and redo options, and possibly even the ability to spawn AI characters.
And I want the graphics to be better. Halo 3's graphics were a little below-average, ODST's were more polished but could still be better.
I don't know, the graphics don't look like they have that 'Halo' style to them if you ask me. But the game is still long ways off, and knowing Bungie just about everything we see is going to be redone by the time the game releases.

If this game is the last in the Halo series then Master Chief is mandatory for this game to me.

I'm somewhat taken back by the article. The pictures where uploaded by Tom Morello and MLG player in the MLG forums. (He also uploaded pics of the Dishwasher 2) There should be more credit towards where they came from not to Koku Gamer.

Your shortbus observations never cease to amaze me. Your trying to compare textures of a game who is not even in Alpha build yet to a game like Uncharted 2?This games comes out sometime fall of next year. Good job scooter now go back and finish eating your glue!

Just look at those bad textures in those mountains. I guess those are supposed to be mountains. Surely they can do better than this.
