Check out the picture above: It's the full ghost outfit from the new Modern Warfare 2 avatar clothes coming to Xbox Live. In fact, they should be available for download today, friends -- but you'll have to buy them.
Don't feel left out, PlayStation 3 owners: You'll get some Modern Warfare 2 themes for your system.
As for the price: I don't know yet. According to Infinity Ward's official twitter, run by Creative Strategist Robert Bowling, "I asked for some to be free but was denied." I wonder who Bowling asked?
My question to you: What would you pay to outfit your little computer self with the armor you see above?

Gotta love the costumes if you're into that but seriously why are people paying for these and not getting them for being awesome in a game, motivation I tell ya. The only two things I purchased for my avatar is the N7 tshirt (enough said) and the pirate eye patch which worked out since I actually had 80 MPs left on my account lol.

I admit, I've bought some avatar clothes with leftover points, but to actually buy points specifically for avatar clothes....ummm no.

Honestly, I think the avatar clothing is pretty dumb to pay big bucks for. For some #MW2 gear, though . . . of course I'll splurge for it. :P

I say if you should spend YOUR money whatever way YOU want! If it's buying clothes for avatar then do what u want with your money but I personally wouldn't waste money on an avatar...I mean those things should be free and I don't really care what my avatar wears, all I care about is having fun playing games I like!!!!

I actually like the avatars, but I will never pay for clothes or accessories for them. Even if it was stuff related to The Beatles, which is pretty much my favorite thing ever. (you know, unless there was a good deal)

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Waste of money and time. Someone made a really good point about this in a similar thread some time ago - about how ridiculous it is for us to spend real money on (unreal) digital clothing for (unreal) digital avatars when there are 'real' people all over the world who can't afford real clothing...
Hey M$/$ony: How about sending part or all proceeds from digital clothing sales to a worldwide charity that helps actual real people? If they did that than i might change my mind.

I'll never buy an clothes for my avatar. I thought about getting some of the game related stuff until I saw the prices. I mean $5 for a lightsaber? Really? I'll play the crap out of the game but unless I'm getting avatar clothes for free I'll pass.

i wonder what it would be like if xbox had barbies. I would seriously think xbox live is just starting to get gay but since Avatars are a profile image then I'm fine with them.

Hey, I'm all for making the dollies look more badass. Of course, a dolly can only look so badass before realizing that it's just a dolly. One that can't beat up the real Barbies you have hidden in the closet, anyway.
Not that I have Barbie and My Little Pony dolls in my closet or anything.

personally i hated the avatars at first but they grew on me. i dont know why people are getting mad about this. if you want to buy the clothing then buy it if not keep moving. i like the fact that you can do something that will make you character different than your friends. most of my friends got the costumes for halloween that was nice. plus the .50 cal is like being touched by the hand of god. the most dangerous weapon since zeus's lighting bolt.

and the thing i hate about kids sometimes that think there good by using the m21 or .50 cal come on those are nooby snipers use the m40 or r700 and stop being bad
