Buzz around Assassin's Creed II is building. The importance of the next Assassin's Creed cannot be understated, even by Ubisoft, as the company claims the next quarter, which includes high-profile releases across all platforms, as the most important quarter in the company's history.
"The third quarter of 2009-10 will be the most important quarter in Ubisoft’s history," reads a line from Ubisoft's second quarter sales report.
In the next quarter, Ubisoft will release Assassin's Creed II, Avatar: The Game, Rabbids Go Home, Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage, Just Dance and Your Shape Featuring Jenny McCarthy.
Success is not assured, however, as Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont pointed out, as the industry "is still uncertain and the full effect of the sharp drop in console prices has yet to be seen."
"Ubisoft has the advantage of a diversified and very high-quality line-up for the crucial holiday period," he continued.
That's just a wee bit of pressure, Ezio.

So what exactly does "the most important quarter in Ubisoft s history" mean? Are they tanking? I hope they aren't riding on the hopes of this lineup. I only see AC2 possibly making projected sales out of the lineup.

@Browns4Ever
I could give 2 sihts about splinter cell. AC2 FTW!
Browns4Ever
If they are so worried why put splinter cell only on 360, as a ps3 owner i would rather buy that than ac2 maybe they should ask microsuck for a loan just in case

"That's just a wee bit of pressure, Altair."
Don't you mean Ezio?
