It's not much, but Lionhead Studios has revealed a piece of concept art from Fable III that depicts the once charming and quaint town of Bowerstone as a dingy, smoke-filled, industrialized, port-type area. It's quite the contrast to the Bowerstone of Fable II, but, actually, I'm kind of digging the look of it. A darker tone, a little Project Natal integration (assuming it isn't lame and/or gimmicky)and overseeing an Albion on the brink of collapse? Expression --> dance.
And just for reference's sake, here's Bowerstone as you once knew it:

I can't wait for this game. I am not going to use Natal though, I am sticking with the controllers.

I'm kind of digging the industrialized look of it. It'll be an interesting change of pace, but I hope the game doesn't lose it's nicer touches. The bloom lighting in that game went a long way, I think, and so I hope they continue to use some of those tricks in clever ways. I also hope it runs at a more solid framerate. That would be spectacular. Oh, also, no Natal support, please. It's okay, I don't feel like holding my thumb up to make my character do so, it's unnecessary thank you.

I'm skeptical about the integration with Natal, but will buy this game regardless as the first 2.5 Fables (I count Fable: The Lost Chapters, too.) were amazingly fun with great replay value. I only hope that Lionhead does a better job with DLC. "Knothole Island" and "See The Future" were very weak when compared to what Bethesda did with Fallout 3. I also hope they scrap or completely overhaul their multiplayer system, as it is annoying at best.

Reminds me of pics from my Social Studies book in the 7th grade about the Industrial Revolution. Looks pretty cool though.

I'm not sure if I can do the dance. The only person I've seen with the skills to do a dance expression is Sessler :)

I'm looking forward to Fable III. I think it's funny how there is only one heir to the throne in this game, but in Fable II I had 5 kids.

I've never played FABLE before but after hearing rumors that it could be using NATAL in some way, I'm hyped for FABLE III.

I really have enjoyed the first two games and the fact that they have taken place in the areas. It has really been fun to visit areas again and see how they have changed through time. Again it seems Lionhead studios is doing a great job pushing the timeline forward and still managing to leave things familiar for those who have been along for the whole the ride.

I like the fact that the first image portrays a dark and unforgiving town. Maybe Lionhead is starting to realize a darker fantasy. One where everything just doesn't work out in the desired way. The "Hero vs. Evil" choice system needs to be left behind; we need more grey area in this one. No more golden retrievers against black pit bulls. I want to see a chihuahua thrown in the mix! A world that reflects the exact personality of the ruler/player. Obviously the world of a king that has only done good deeds needs to be different than a world where the king was significantly evil but somehow became good by eating a bunch of carrots.

I like the fact that the first image portrays a dark and unforgiving town. Maybe Lionhead is finally starting to realize a darker fantasy where everything just doesn t work out the way we would like. I liked Fable 2 but it failed when put up against Fable 1. The Hero vs. Evil choice system needs to be left behind; we need more grey area in the next game. No more golden labs against black pit bulls. I want a chihuahua thrown in the mix! A world that reflects the exact personality of the ruler. Obviously the world of a king that has done no wrong needs to be different than one that was evil but somehow started eating healthier and became good.

Ugh, Fable 2 will be last lionhead game I ever buy. The first one was kinda fun, I thought it had promise, the second one took the worst parts of Fable 1 and made a whole game out of them plus adding a whole bunch of pointless minigames. I don't care what score it gets, I though fable two would be a sure thing with a 5/5 but it buying it was the single worse gaming mistake I ever made. Beat it in four days and traded it in for fallout, now that is a real game!

Wow, you guys sure are a close-minded bunch.
I for one am looking forward to this game, it would be very interesting to see how they use Natal.

I don't know what to think. I liked the first 2 Fable's for what they were, but hearing Peter talk about it made me feel a but hopeless about Fable 3. they are always adding new stuff but never bother to get the formula right on the stuff already existent.
Fable 3 better have like 300 different outfits and armors, the legendary weapons better be better then the normal weapons, there better be a way to be evil besides shooting everyone you see, and there needs to be bigger and badder fights. I was completely disappointed by the super scripted trolls.

I won't buy anything using natal. motion control = fail.
gamersince1995
