Why Did BioWare Spoil A Mass Effect 2 Ending At E3? Ray Muzyka Answers

Good news for anyone who felt less than satisfied by BioWare’s minimal downloadable content offerings for its galactic RPG Mass Effect: the sequel will most likely perhaps seemingly might could possibly be getting quite a bit of DLC down the road. That is, as Destructoid reports, if a Microsoft Expert Zone quiz tipster is to be believed.

Some of the future Mass Effect 2 content revealed includes weapon, armor and character downloads, as well as “new downloadable worlds” and “full campaign expansions.” There is also mention of “periodic updates,” which doesn’t reveal much, but I guess it’s better than “no periodic updates.”

Mass Effect 2 was already shaping up to be epic-to-the-eleventh-power, so the idea of having substantial DLC tacked on top of that is, if I may, stellar? Plus, the thought of having entire planets being offered as DLC is just too cool for space school. Then again, until BioWare confirms this info, this info will continue to float in the rumor belt.

Bioware really dropped the ball with it came to the first Mass effects DLC. I will of course buy the second since I trust bioware just on there name alone to release a great product.

im not a fan of sci-fi type games usually but the first mass effect game is right up at the top of my all time favorites for epic stories and favorite single player experiences. If this is remotely like the first im going to be ecstatic.

hopefully it look better than the first 1 and add more monsters and enemies on the planets instead of driving for hours on end for crap and a handfull of geth and pirates , to bad the makers of this game are narrow minded , they should port this game over to the Playstation 3 with that consel power it would be a great looking game , and give fans of sifi rpg a great add on to there collection .

Nothing excites me more then knowing I get to pay extra money for content originally planned to come out in the game.

I'm kinda getting tired of all this dlc stuff. I like the idea of it but it really feels like we as the customers are being nickle and dimed to death by this. If you're going to do dlc, make it worth like, like Rockstar does with their pronominal Liberty City episodes. Otherwise it's a waste to buy the game right away when there will be a game of the year edition a year later.

Adding in planets is a great idea for Mass Effect 2 DLC. That would be really cool if there are dozens of planets you could buy. There would need to be a menu in game to make sorting through that easier, something that I hear Fable III might have.

This would make Mass Effect a very good game if this happened.

I don't like weapon and skin DLC. Those should be in the game already. But I hope they add on to this like the DLC for Fallout 3.

Mass Effect and Heavy Rain are going to be top notch mature games for next year.
