Grant City cop Jack Slate, and his K-9 companion, Shadow, bite, shoot, and grenade their way through this trailer showcasing the bloody combat available in Namco Bandai's third-person action game, Dead to Rights: Retribution.
It's a reimagining of the 2002 original you can expect to see in early 2010 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

This looks pretty weak, graphics are nothing great and the sound was bad, maybe it will be better than it looks so far. I do really like the dog sidekick even thought we have seen it before.

Damn I was sooo looking forward to this game. One trailer and that is right out the window. Going to pull my reserve tomorrow. The animations need a TON of help and polish. Death animations, take downs, cover shooting, dog attack. Just scrap the whole thing and hand it over to EPIC.

is it just me or does the AI look insanely bad and the controls look kinda hit and miss... not to meantion the animation but we just won't meantion that

oh yes don't show all the parts related to the dogs really bad AI and the running in circles around the enemy...
to be honest the combat seems so bland in this game, the only saving grace MIGHT BE the melee/360 degree combat system but im not so sure...
