Everyone at G4 is swamped with video games to play through as we march towards the end of the year. It's a good problem to have, which should make for some interesting discussion on this week's edition of Feedback. Despite the deluge of games, however, we still want to hear from you guys. What do you want Adam Sessler and the rest of the Feedback crew to discuss this week?

Damn,
I'm probably too late, but I'll ask it again next week just in case.
My question:
Do you feel that game publishers and marketers show too much of a game now before it is released? The biggest example recently is Modern Warfare 2. While, I know there have been leaks there have also been trailers showing the assault on Washington and all the multiplayer info (perks, streaks, etc.). While it is nice for the developer to share this with us imagine how much better MW2 would have been if we had no idea about the Washington assault. I'm sure they have more surprises up their sleeve, but it would be nice to be shocked here and there.
Other examples of developers doing this is Uncharted 2 (train scene, multiple cinematics), Resident Evil 5 (The Jill Shocker Trailer Right Before Release), Final Fantasy XIII (Seems like a new Famtisu magazine spread every week), etc.

It seems that Infinity Ward is repeatedly shooting itself in the foot when it comes to the media hype around Modern Warfare 2. Back when the trailer was released that revealed there was conflict on US soil felt like a huge spoiler in my opinion. Then with the leaked video of terrorist gameplay and now the recent ad against "frag spamming," it feels like this media coverage has ruined a portion of the game for me. Do you guys think that the hype revolved around Modern Warfare 2 has become detrimental to the game and possibly its sales?

I have just finished Mass Effect and have started playing Dragon Age, and I noticed that EA is doing some interesting thing with there Social networking site. If you are on there you can track what you do in game and what your friends not unlike Xbox live does. I think this might be the case with ME2. Also with the ton of extra goodies from Bio-Ware like the stuff from DA Journeys as extra DLC is this how companys are going to be doing things or is this more or less a test to see if it will work?

My wife and I both games. She is more into the casual and puzzle games, I am more hardcore in my tastes. But we love playing action RPGs or most RTSs together. But most game comapanies seem to want us to but 2 copies of the game to do this! WTF?
Why has game moved so far from the model of local mutiplayer? I find it so annoying that I will be playing a game like Halo Wars, my wife comes home, say "Hey, that interesting. Lets play together" but we can't. No local multiplayer. I know that a split screen approach to some game is not ideal, but asking games to buy 2 of everything just to share gaming experiences with their spouse seems way worse to me.

what are your guy's thoughts on pre-order bonuses and special things that you can only get from pre-ordering do you think its a good thing for loyal fans of an established franchise or people interested in a new IP or is it just annoying little bonuses that a lot of us miss out on because we were not sure if we wanted the game right as it came out?

Bioshock had one of the best plot twists in a game with their "would you kindly", and it was pretty powerful stuff to see the nuke go off in the first modern warfare game, with that said are developers setting themselves up to fail in the sequel market by raising the bar for plot twist to high their first time trough in new games ?

I recently heard that valve had released a Left 4 dead 2 demo, much to my dismay inorder to play said demo, you had to have pre-ordered the game. Which in my mind doesn't really make complete sense. On one hand I realise developers want to give an incentive for people to pre-order but, on the other hand the main idea of a demo is to give players a free sample to entice them to buy a full copy. So its kinda funny they would only let people who's money was already in their pockets have access. My question is wouldn't it make more sense to offer a free demo to steal business from that "other" game coming out at about the same time which does not have a demo?

Do you think that the gaming community will be potrayed as anything more as a bunch of kids who yell racist slurs and get mad at each other, or do you think it will stay on this stereotype?

Do you think the Gaming Industry has reached a peak? In the past we have found that new Gaming Systems came out every 4 years but with this latest Age of Gaming Systems it seems here to stay for a long time. Do you think that we should expect this Age to stay for a while longer? Or has it only been around so long because of the Worlds financial troubles?

Madden and Dragon Age Origins both had DLC released along with the game. When should we as consumers be upset that DLC wasn't included in the original game?

I was wondering what you guys thought of the new motion sensing technology being introduced into the gaming scene. Such as Microsoft's Project Natal and Sony's motion sensing wand thing-y. Do you think it will be like the 3-D fad in movies right now where it won't be for the more mature games? Will it really impact the gaming market?

If we posted a question to last week's call for questions (or the week before ...) do we have to cut and paste it to get it to be considered again for this week?
