People, you really need to do a little research before commenting. Go to www.startrekonline.com and you'd discover two things misrepresented here in the Comments section:

    1) This is not revisionist history. The game takes place decades after the Star Trek: Nemesis movie. The only thing changes from official lore is the destruction of Romulus, which was put into play courtesy of that godawful Star Trek reboot.

    2) The Klingons will NOT be the only "enemy" in the game. They are simply another "faction" that you can choose to play. Romulans, Borg, Ferengi, etc. will all be enemies.

    3) It's feasible that the Orion Syndicate could temporarily side with one faction or the other. It would be more likely the Klingons, since the Orions have access to weaponry and black market-type items.

Is it just going to be the Federation versus the Klingon Alliance? It seems boring. Just lots of flying around shooting phasers and photon torpedoes. Where is the exploration part of this game. Can I captain a starship and explore the galaxy doing missions and solving problems throughout the galaxy?

Combat is starting to look a little....edgy......both in space and on the ground

I'm not sure I like the direction of the gameplay every since Cryptic took over the assets, they're taking out some of the trekkish feel....what happened to actually being in the ship when fighting? Now we get this 3rd person view only?

I have to agree the more I see of how Cryptic is screwing up the lore, the less I want to play this.

Orions are with the Klingons?! Huh? They've always been neutral, usually playing both sides to make a profit.

Cryptic should know that Trekkies/Trekkers (whoever) takes their lore VERY serioiusly and by messing with the lore they are taking a risk the game is gonna tank like Champions is going to.

The more I see of this, the less I want to play it. Compared to the beast that is SW:TOR, I see no way that this can stand up to it. I'm sure true Trekkers are going nuts over this, but it Galaxies scary. Hopefully Cryptic doesn't do to this what Sony did to Star Wars.
