You're a jerk, Monday. A real jerk. There are few games closer to me than designer Warren Spector's Deus Ex. Sure, the sequel was barely worth playing, but there was so much more that could have happened with that universe. Spector apparently thought that, too, as he told The Cut Scene's Chris Morris that he attempted to re-acquire the rights to Deus Ex.
“There were and still are Deus Ex stories I would like to tell," he told the blog. "That story is not done for me."
Be still my beating heart.
Spector was developing what appears to have been a spiritual successor to Deus Ex at the Disney-acquired Junction Point. Disney now owns the rights to this unannounced project, but with Eidos moving forward with Deus Ex 3, the dream of a Spector-headed sequel has been dashed. Spector is also currently tied up with Disney Epic Mickey.
Still, it's nice to dream. And I wouldn't mind seeing Spector's new age take on the idea.

opeth, the Game Of The Year edition is the PC version for the Second, which im playing right now
now i own both GOTY and the PS2 version and honestly, i prefer the PS2 version, mainly for ease of quick menu navigation and virtually infinite inventory, if there is a mod for GOTY that changes the interface to the PS2 version, PLEASE TELL ME!!!!!
and imo, the invisible war doesnt really feel like a Deus Ex game, it just doesnt have the feel of the other 2 games, thus y i dont play it

First one was awesome, second was good cuz the universal clip wich i really hated it!!!! but the third one looks great wish he had Spector could have made the third

Oh ya, Deus Ex II wasn't very good. Kind of fell victim to the console syndrome.

Deus Ex is on of my favorite games ever. Basically and FPS/RPG X-files in many respects. Perfect in my opinion.

omg!! i would love to see specter make another deus ex!! i love that game!! there wasnt really anything wrong with invisible war it jus wasnt near as good as the first one.
