X-Play's Mr Sark has a history of dropping some amazing Halo 3 prizes on the winner of the Sarkathlon, a contest storied in legend and history, appearing only a few times to the chosen few... or whenever new Halo 3 multiplayer maps are available.
Previously, Mr Sark has bestowed the coveted Recon armor on winners, but with the release of Halo 3: ODST, that isn't so special anymore, right? You're absolutely correct. That's why Mr Sark and Bungie are going to be giving the winner of Sarkathlon 4...
Bungie Exclusive Flaming Armor!
To compete, you'll need to acquire a copy of Halo 3: ODST because this content takes place on the map Longshore. Once you have ODST loaded up, you'll need to download the map and gametype for Sarkathlon 4 from Mr Sark's Bungie.net file share. After that, load it up, find all 8 grenades, and cross the finish line faster than anyone else. Simple, right?
Sarkathlon 4 ends at Sunday, November 8th at Midnight! Save a full replay of your run and put it on your Bungie.net file share. Then, email mrsark@g4tv.com with a link to your replay to enter the contest!

Wow. This is just plain stupid.
I mean they at least could have mead the entire armor on fire, instead of hastily adding a fire model under the helmet model, and making it clip through the head. I want a whole flaming, demonic looking suit of armor, make it look like it's actually supposed to be on fire, not just a head that makes me look really, really angry.

There are obvious problems with flaming armor. One is that while Halo is not a game of stealth, it does help a lot when your online and your team is losing 24-40. Two, its just another thing for people to complain about not getting like the sword and the recon. Plus, if we follow the pattern of exclusive content, all we have to do is wait a couple months, a year at most for it to come out as a bonus on the next Halo game

i dont know why you guys are saying this is easy i mean yea maybe you spawn next to the grenades as some of you say but remember there are tons of people everywhere trying to get there hands on that flaming head armor and you might think its easy now but you are competing against millions of people its not as easy as it sounds and you have to get the fastest time for that i still dont get why you think this is easy its not if you really want this armor you should be practicing twenty four seven ad also remember people will be trying to kill you while doing this they will crush you to keep you from winning it and only bungie has this and you could be the first besides bungie to have it if i were you i wouldve started practicing a long time ago so get started if you want to be that one person to have this flaming armor well flaming neck armor anyway start practicing it isnnt as easy as it sounds!
