Oh, yes. Excellent news, TheFeed readers. Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons is returning to the adventure genre. Technically, he actually returned to the adventure genre pretty recently, collaborating with Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil on an iPhone remix of Beneath A Steel Sky. But Cecil and Gibbons are currently developing a brand-new adventure, according to Eurogamer.
"All I can say is, I am working with Dave Gibbons and we're working on a new adventure game," teased Cecil during a Eurogamer Expo panel in the UK. "We have a number of ideas for premises and we honestly haven't decided which road we're going to go down. But I love writing and playing adventure games and that is what I'm going to stick to."
It doesn't matter what it is. Cecil + Gibbons = day one.
