Dragon Age: Origins wasn't supposed to hit PlayStation 3 until a couple of weeks after Xbox 360 and PC. The PlayStation 3 version was lagging behind, prompting Electronic Arts and BioWare to decide it made more sense to simply launch the other versions ahead of time. Some late nights have apparently resulted in a polished PlayStation 3 game, though, as the companies announced today Dragon Age: Origins is coming out on all platforms simultaneously on November 3.
“The Dragon Age: Origins development team was able to polish the PlayStation 3 version to our high standard of quality and we are ready to deliver the richest and deepest role-playing fantasy experience across all three platforms," said Ray Muzyka, group general manager of EA's RPG/MMO Group and BioWare co-founder in a brief statement announcing the release change.

This is good for me since i wanted the ps3 version anyway, but I have to question if the quality is really to the standard of the 360 version. I love Bioware and everything but good things don't usually happen to a game that is rushed.

... Now I have 14 less days to pay off my pre-order... Unfortunately from what I played at comic-con, PC wins as far as graphics, though the game is far better in combat when using the controller, the controller gives the game that - press button - make action happen, feel, while the PC is more click and wait for you character and your allies to kill the enemy.

Wow, i'm really glad alpha protocol got delayed now. I just picked up fallout 3 GOTY a week and a half ago and have lots to do in that game yet.
i'm Imagining if AP hadn't got delayed, i would be picking AP up tuesday and would have a week to beat it, plus fimish up FO3 before dragon age came out yikes!

Yeah, I just got one that said the PSN has over million users registered now and if the message gets sent to about half that many people all that participated will get $50 in PSN credit. damn that was a long ass sentence....

personally i believe that the "psn users will have to pay starting" blah blah blah blah is just another text hoax that gets people to send it to everyone in psn....ive never heard anything official about it and my friend usually would be ontop on that stuff and complaining, and silly that would be something Microsoft would do :P oh wait they already did.....lol

FINALLY a company is actually putting work into ALL systems and not just the xbox. cuz im really getting sick of this favoritism crap from every single company. think what you will about the ps3 or the xbox.or vise versa, it is truly crap that companies are just focusing on one system. hence the gta4 dlc franchises. and i dont mind exclusive games for certain gaming systems such as halo or uncharted (etc.) thats understandable. but to release continuous dlcs for a certain game to one system and say "ohh well get to it later" is pretty jacked up, hence what bethesda/ fallout 3 did.

Believe it or not, there is a part of me that hates DA's release date! I want the game and I am getting the game, but my problem is that it comes just a week after Forza 3's release, and my head is going to asplode over which one to play, much like it did when GoldenEye and FF7 came out around the same time so many years ago! I about went nuts then, and it'll prolly happen again!
