Whatever was stopping Borderlands players from hooking up online with their friends on PlayStation 3 apparently wasn't an issue that required a patch, as users are reporting tweaks on Gearbox Software's side have apparently solved the issue…mostly. Some users are still having issues joining up with friends and maintaining a connection.
If you're having issues, your best bet is to report them in the Borderlands technical support forums. Gearbox seems to be keeping a close eye on users there.

This game sucks anyways...what a let down. There are a million glitches in this game. The worst I've seen since Glitchbusters...

Typical PS3 issues. They cant even handle multiplatform games, I am surprised that the almighty, all powerful PS3 cannot handle ports. Pathetic...

I have the best fix. Buy it on the 360 and you will never have to worry about this.

The 1st night I wasn't able to link up with my friends.. The issue does indeed appear to be fixed as last night (2nd night) we found each other & were able to play with no porblem.
