I know you think you're too old, cool and cynical to enjoy Disney. I thought the same thing, until a few month ago when I took advantage of a free pass to Disneyland and had my hard-fought bitterness absolutely obliterated by the magic of the happiest place on earth. I have a feeling the upcoming Wii game Epic Mickey will do the same for my "mature" video gaming tastes. Yes, it's a Wii game. Yes, it's a Disney game, but it sounds freakin' amazing!
Although not much about the plot has been released, the rumor is it concerns Mickey slipping into a messed-up alternative, steampunk Disney-verse where the lower-caste Disney characters are trying to take him out as head of the Disney empire. Take a look at creeped-out, robo-Donald above! Nightmare!
The November 2009 issue of Game Informer has a bunch of details and concept art, and from the looks of this game, Epic Mickey will, in fact, be epic. According to the game's designer, Warren Spector,"We’re creating a world where we have to have this painted, bright, cartoony, puffy marshmallow look side-by-side with this gray, blasted, dark, twisted, pointy, inert look.” Yeah. I could get into that.

Epic Mickey, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Legend Of Zelda Wii, Metroid the other M. 2010 is looking good for the wii as with this holiday season.

Its funny you think that way in the 7 console generation we have had the most powerful machine was not in first.
Atari was early 8 bit and it beat Intellivision which was 16 bit. Sega Master System was more poerful then NES. 3DO and Jaguar were

Having read the game informer article, this is going to be really cool. The ideas for it are really going to stretch what we all think of the "happy mouse" and the controls are perfect for the wii. This is going on the list of games to play for sure. I love games that shatter what we know of the world.

I wish they would release this for 360 and PS3 using the better graphics and better resolution. Though I have a Wii I don't think I will play it. If it was on another system probably yes. Only games I am looking forward to on my Wii in the near future are Silent Hill Shattered Memories and New Super Mario Brothers Wii.
