God of War Collection Trailer Released

Between Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed II and Dragon Age: Origins, November is going to be a bank account killer for a lot of gamers. And right smack in the middle of all those shiny new titles will be the HD upgrades of two of the most acclaimed games ever, God of War and God of War II, which will be bundled together (along with a demo for God of War III) on a single disc to form the God of War Collection.

I know you probably don't want to have to pull the cash trigger on another title (or titles) this holiday, but take a look at the new trailer for the collection posted over the Official PlayStation Blog, and you'll see that there are far worse ways to spend $40. Now all we need is an HD remastered collection of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. A guy can dream, can't he?

The only thing that sucks about this is that it comes out the same day as Assassins creed 2 (which I'm getting for 360...surprise?) so I'm going to have to wait a week before picking it up. But, I can't to play remastered versions of God of War and God of War 2 while earning some trophies. @$40, A demo for God of War 3 is just icing on the cake.

Also, the demo will be available on the disk, right? because I could swear that I read somewhere it would be in the form of a voucher that lets you download it. Ridiculous I know.

Im with Punk09 on this one. How IS it a collection, and not have all 3 games?? And ive already got the first 2 games, why buy again????

This game is going to be off the chain! (lol) I've played both God of War and God of War II and it will be nice to get trophies for it. Plus the demo for God of War III will be nice to have too.

I own the PS2 versions but,I've already pre-ordered it! $40 you cant go wrong,and trophies(BONUS)!!! My only peeve is, if they're going to call it a collection, where is the Chains of Olympus HD version?

I never finished the first one nor did I even try the second one. As an experienced gamer, I feel like I have a debt to pay to this franchise. Now, did you say "trophies"? Did you say "remastered at 720p"? Time to pay up mercisan!

if i haven't played it, it's new to me!

i think almost every PS3 exclusive is better then MW2 and if your wondering, Demon's Souls is better then MW2, i know its two completely diff games, but i bought Demon's Souls and its amazing... look at the review its up today, haha i left a huge ass comment adding some things they left out...its a great game and is amust buy for anyone into those types of game :)

also thats a good idea i can trade my GoW2 game in now with this coming out, like i did with Fallout 3 and got the GOTY edition. I cant wait for HD BADASS KRATOS and trohpies and i finally can play GoW1 cause i never have!!
