Take a seat! The latest edition of Feedback is here to soothe your gaming soul. Host and editor-in-chief Adam Sessler once again takes the reigns on Feedback this week and he's joined by yours truly, Sterling McGarvey and Andrew Pfpfpfpfpfister to discuss what's nothing less than the greatest game of all time and that will ever be made, so it has been decreed -- you know, Uncharted 2.
Elsewhere in this week's Feedback:
- Your weekly weather discussion for the greater Los Angeles area!
- Sony's penchant for leaking its own news by accident continues, with both inFamous 2 and Resistance 3 seemingly being confirmed months before there's anything official. Of course, the real question on everyone's mind is: why exactly is Battle: Los Angeles shooting in Louisiana? Clearly, we're doing our best to stay on track this week.
- BioWare's revealed Dragon Age: Origins will have downloadable content for a solid two years, making it more like the expansion content for an MMO than what we come to expect from traditional RPG. I'm not so sure the game can hold people's attention that long, but Andrew thinks there's a good chance it could work.
- Prepare TheFeed comment battle stations for war: Wii Play is the best selling game of the past decade. You may begin your screams of horror…now.
- A reader wonders if publishers might see better sales if they start selling games at prices other than $60. The crew was split on whether it's a good approach. Also, apparently I'm the only person who actually liked Wet (at least a little).
- Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2.

omg. i cannot agee more with Sterling. that scene where everything calms down. walking through that little Tibetan village. just the level of detail i felt incredibly immersed like i was really looking through a window into some little Tibetan village somewhere.

Battle for Los Angeles? Anything to do with Rage Against the Machine?

New host, why didn't you tell me? Now ill watch all the time. Didn't like the original host. Adam is pretty cool. Good job guys!

PRIMER flippin' rocks!
I'm glad that, not only am I not the only one who knows about it and likes it, but that an editor at G4 likes it, too!
I wonder if I could get a job there...
(No, I don't think that's a qualification to get a job at G4... but I would like to work for G4... or ScrewAttack.com)

WOW what a great show :D Seriously, it has been a while since i last heard a meaningful and mature discussion about games( i finally ditched Gametrailers for good ,there's only so much i can take).
Anyway, if you haven't played Uncharted 2, believe me -> It's THAT good and you really don't want to miss out. Cheers~ :P

ok because of the massive uc2 comments i felt i needed to create an account. First off I mainly play rpgs but i do play action/ shooters games i have been able to beat the story in 10 hrs top so not even a day have play. second with such short game play how can the story be so great? rpg have +40hrs gameplay but i was get +100 hrs on them. The story is much more... developed but for those that said it changes the action franchise, like feedback, i agree with but those who it changes all I have a question: HOW?. RPGS and shooters are so different, i hate RPG shooters so i don't count those., RPGS main focus is the story when shooter is... shooting the enemy? P.S Brutal Legend always falls under rpg shooter. I will most likely get UN2 but... easier if I just make a list.
Games to get this year
Final fantasy XIII versus
Final fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIV
and so far UC2 but subject to change
Question: Will FFXIII for PC change for online even when the PS3 has free online?
*note* I just started playing FFXI free trial and found out all systems play on the same sever which is great because not all my friends have a PS3 but they wouldn't if they have to pay $12 every mouth

Nice job guys, just want to point out one thing, Uncharted 2 is amazing and all but the big stand out is the competitive multi player, its realy is up there with Halo and Gears. Yet I hear no one talk about it, I am friends with one of NDs character textures and modelers and they are bummed as well that there competitive mode gets no love. Should try talking about it more.

I love Feedback, it is intelligent people discussing video games with out crudeness or childish behavior. I like Adam being the host, no offense to the other guy, keep up the good work.
CLUNGEHUNTERPJ
good episode. keep it up guys ;).
I think that because the audience for casual games like wii play and guitar hero is so different and so separate from the traditional game market that they should be put into two separate categories. you just can't consider them the same thing - i mean, wii fit can't really be praised for its level design or story mode can it? I think that there should be a separate section of the ite for thses games.
plz discuss, i'd like t know people's thoughts
p.s., please stop talking about unchared. it just makes me jealous of all my ps3-owning friends. i don't have the cash to splash out on a new console, my 360 just got fixed. please don't mock me sony slaves. both consoles are good. i dn't want to start any fights.

Link isn't working on the site here for some reason, just remove the space between bo and rderlands in the link.

As for the $40 issue of game quality: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10 /17/canadians-can-enter-the-bo rderlands-for-40/
In Canada, we pay $70 for new games, and after tax, comes to $78. So when Batman came out it was listed at $38.83 and now they are doing the same for Borderlands. The price is $40 for a few days to get people to buy the game at launch or a day after launch, and then it reverts back to $70. But hopefully the trend of having a discounted price on launch day will continue to get more people to get the game and then pay for DLC later.

If people complain about the prices, then they should not play games. Most people forget that AAA titles and games people WANT to buy are usually on a budget somewhere between $1,000,000 and up. Games and Technology Liscencing are expensive and how else are the developers(directors x25/programmers x100/composersx50/3d Modelers x50/Conceptual Artist x50 and PR Directors x5) going to get payed enough to live nicely if they sell them at $45 and less. Obviously there is a reason games are $60 and not just because all developers wanted to increase the price, with all the new graphics tech and what-not its becoming to expensive to sell games at $40 and what ever they used to be before $60.
DravinClaw
here is my price layout for games I think it's reasonable if not feel free to add your take.
xbox 360 game prices should be $45 because your allready paying for online play via xbox live.
Playstation 3 game prices should be $55 because your not paying for online play via PSN.
PC games should be 49.99 and 20 max for an expasion pack with the exception of MMO's like WOW.
as for wii games...ehhh

@Ps3Fears360
I found this article to be even more interesting! LOL
http://www.n4g.com/gaming/Ne ws-154914.aspx
It basically talks about how over rated your precious Halo is, now go put on your halo pajama's and go to bed kid.
Mr_PS3
I really like the Sess hosting Feedback. He brings a certain energy that Billy didn't. I noticed that with him, he encourages more insight in what he is talking about and that is transferred to the guests as well. Everything seems more in-depth than just what is said in plain sight.
theGreatZamboni
Feedback is what every gaming show should be. Intelligent conversations about the industry, not just a hype creation machine filled with irrelevant fillers to make its a half hour show.
comicforhire
I didn't like UC2. I am hoping to sell it for 50$, I'm a bit upset. When Adam said it was "His best single player experience. I was hoping it would at least be a decent game. Had almost no fun with it. The glitches, tiny selection of enemies, and complete lack of choice is sad to see in two thousand nine. I don't think it is a game of the year contender or even a game of the week to me. I respect the opinions of X-play and Feedback, but I feel Brutal Legend was much more fun and a richer experience. I won't agree when X-Play dubs it game of the year, just like last year when I felt Fable 2 was a large let down last year. If you say a lie enough it becomes a truth. Thats how I feel about the UC2 praise.
ThatsBitch3n
Man Feedback is what I want in a show about gaming. To me this and Kotaku talk radio are by far the most superior. Even more so than X-Play.

LoL, Sgt Rock for the WIN!
NakedSnake14
Nice feedback guys...the topics you guys brought up were very interesting. Especially the one about Publishers in the game industry for some reason holding out on announcing a sequel while other entertainment divisions basically want to announce a sequel or even another part to a piece of content right away. I have not gotten Uncharted 2 yet, but I plan on getting it this weekend for non-stop play. Also can someone please answer the question we all want to know...where in god's name is Billy B.
