EA 2D Developing Dragon Age Flash Game Series

Just in case BioWare’s upcoming Tolkien-esque Dragon Age: Origins isn’t taking up every waking minute of your time once it’s released next month, EA 2D has teamed up with the game’s developers to create a browser-based series of Flash games based on BioWare’s much anticipated fantasy RPG.

Dragon Age Journeys will be a three-part, tactical RPG experience that will incorporate the character classes, talent trees, sound effects, music and user interfaces of Dragon Age: Origins to create a consistent and familiar experience for Origins fans, while also serving as a solid introduction to the game’s mythos, style and design.

The first installment is entitled The Deep Roads, and will take place in and around the city of Orzammar, one of the world’s last Dwarven cities, where players will face off against the encroaching darkspawn hordes. The series doesn’t have a release date yet, but EA 2D will be updating BioWare’s blog over the coming days with more info.
