Jade Empire seemed interesting, but the immediate backlash to BioWare's post-Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG (the inflated review scores at launch didn't help) pushed Jade Empire far enough off my plate that I never actually got around to playing it. BioWare seems keen to return to Jade Empire's world, though there's no indication it's actually happening, according to a Strategy Informer interview with Dragon Age: Origins lead designer Mark Laidlaw.
"We haven’t announced anything on Jade Empire 2 yet," said Laidlaw. "It’s pretty much no comment. But, you know, we will certainly announce it if it’s going to be coming out. At this point, Jade Empire is a staff favorite and a lot of us love it, so we’d love to revisit it at some point. But right now, we are very focused on Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2."

I would love to get another Jade Empire game. As long as they make it longer. I've rather enjoyed almost all of BioWare's awesomely goodness.

Fantastic game, but what else can we expect from Bioware? Played it and finished (3 times!) on the PC and bought it for XBox Live when it first came out (then beat it again). Did the same thing with KotOR, even thought the XBox emulation on the 360 leaves something to be desired.
I can imagine Jade Empire 2 being a ways off, considering development is concurrent on Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 and The Old Republic.

I loved this game as well as all of the other bioware games. I just re-purchased it on Steam and had a lot of fun. The story was very memorable and the characters were great. I think a sequel could be awesome. Come out with SWTOR first!

Jade Empire was and is a great game and I would love a Jade Empire 2. This is why I bought the original Xbox. Deep, fun, adventures. I would love to see this on the 360 as well.

I have a PS3 and I love the the original Jade Empire. I don't really see it being on PS3 since it was Xbox and PC only..But why do you say we don't deserve it? Please, back your opinion up. I want to see what you have to say. It would be refreshing to see an intellgent argument for once.

I loved the story of Jade Empire and had a lot of fun getting to know the characters and exploring the world, but the combat I always found mind numbingly boring. I'd love to see a Jade Empire 2 with a beefed up combat system. Maybe something a little free form a la Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Jade Empire is the only Bioware game I've ever played and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would love for them to make a sequel.
