Sorry about that one, readers. Sega and Platinum Games have released a demo for Bayonetta on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network…but only in Japan. It's likely the companies will deliver a similar playable demo before the game's release over here in January, but right now, you'll have to jump through some hoops in order to play the game.
It's not impossible to download demos from each machine's Japanese marketplace, but it might take some message board scouring to find out the best way to pull it off. If you manage to get the demo onto your console, though, let me know what you think of the game!

Got the game from Japan PSN. Really awesome demo. Although, I believe I'll wait till Jan domestic release instead of importing. I thought it looked just fine running on the PS3 and didn't notice all of the "extreme" problems mentioned from various corners of the web.
Oh, and Sara Palin wouldn't make so much as a mole on Bayo's lovely face! :-P
Whether you have a US or Japan version PS3 you can create a Japanese PSN acct and get the demo. Plenty of tutorials on google that show you how to do it. It's crazy simple!

Downloaded the demo. I like the gameplay, much better than DMC. It's easier to dodge the enemies here than in DMC. This girl has more combo than Dante and Nero combined.

Basically this is Devil May Cry with a hot witch chick I'll watch the review, see if it matches up to one of my favorite franchises. It looks interesting though(not just saying that cuz her outfit is her hair). maybe when the price drops and I have more money I'll pick it up but it doesn't have me hyped like Uncharted 2.

This game looks so stupid. What about guns on your feet is cool? It sounds like the people responsible for the games ideas were high. Another thing people seem to be falling over themselves about this game is the main character, a half naked woman with glasses, sorry but if you think a videogame character is hot you might want to get out more.

The game look great, still some cutting on the graphics when comes on some parts but still good overall. the combo system is quite good and easy to handle, better than other action games similar to this one. Althought this game says "fanservice" all the way, it's not what the game sales to me since it's has it's own identity to go all the way.
And it's not that hard to make a Japan account, it's as easy as making a US account. Just go to.... ah well I guess revealing a "secret" could get me in trouble or G4.

Played it, and it was fun, the combos were easy to pull off the enemies are smart and dangerous if you underestimate them, overall it is not groundbreaking, but it is awesome in its own right.
