The Making Of The Halo 3: ODST Live-Action Short

The live-action short based on Bungie's Halo 3: ODST was released a few weeks back, and received understandable praise for its gritty and impressively detailed recreation of the Halo universe. Not surprisingly, it took significant effort on a number of levels to bring the short together, and if you take a look at this newly released behind-the-scenes mini-documentary about the production, you'll actually gain a very clear understanding as to just how much work went into it.

The video also includes interviews with some of the minds behind the short including Alan Scott of Legacy Effects and Ryan Crosby of Microsoft Game Studios. There is also a brief scene that was cut from the final version involving an even briefer encounter between an ODST and a brute minor. You can check out the full video right here:
