By all accounts, Beaterator is less a game than a fully-functioning music production suite. So, with that kind of weight behind it, is it any fun to mess around with? Well, according to reviewer Brian Trinidad:
'Small as its packaging may be, Beaterator provides an incredible collection of tools you’d find in a professional music production suite in the palm of your hands. For those with less than any musical background, the more advanced features may prove intimidating as there is no tutorial that teaches users on basic music theory to get them started. Though not a complete replacement for a fully equipped recording studio, Beaterator is still a portable and highly recommended buy for producers-in-training and music aficionados who own a PSP'
