Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise has received a number of portable iterations over the past few years. Between the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines for the PlayStation Portable, and Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles for the Nintendo DS (and the iPhone), there’s been plenty of Creed to go around in the downtime between the release of the original console title and the upcoming Assassin's Creed II.
Now Ubisoft has announced its going mobile with the franchise yet again, with Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery for the DS and DSi (and the iPhone, as was revealed earlier this month). The game, which comes out on November 20th, follows Ezio to Spain where, while attempting to rescue fellow assassin's from the horrors of the Spanish Inquisition, he uncovers a Templar plot to do dirty deeds dirt cheap in the New World.
For all three versions of the game, players will be able to take pictures of themselves using their devices' built-in cameras and have them appear on wanted posters scattered through the game. It's definitely a neat feature, but it could get old pretty quickly. However, abiders of the Creed will definitely want to keep their eyes on this one.
