Things are heating up for the PlayStation Portable platform and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a big reason why. At Tokyo Game Show 2009, the gang caught up with assistant producer Sean Eyestone for an in-depth interview. Eyestone touched on numerous aspects of the game, including controls, cooperative play, working with one analog stick on the PSP, the game's setting, bridging the gap between Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, new characters, and more. Check it out!

The reason why they don't put the PSP games on the PS3 is because it would hurt the sales of PSPs. If you have a PS3 but no PSP and a PSP game comes out on both, then you'd have no incentive to buy a PSP. The way it is now, when a game shows up that people who don't have a PSP want to play it gives them a reason to get one. It worked for me, I bought one for God of War and Metal Gear and have enjoyed the result. So yeah, I don't think I'd hold my breath. It's happened to a few games, but it's not exactly the norm.

I still have my PSP 1000 model, and cant wait to get this masterpiece! I would upgrade to the Psp go, but the price has to come down.

Sony should let PSP games from the PSN be playable on the PS3.

Maybe I will buy this game if I get a PSPGo to replace my 1000 model.
