Sony showed off two well-known games that will be using its motion controller in different ways: Resident Evil 5 and LittleBigPlanet. During its Tokyo Game Show 2009 press conference, the company revealed that the motion controller will be launching with a Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition, which will take full advantage of the motion controls.
The company also announced that LittleBigPlanet will be getting patched to work with motion controls as well. While it's important to have new products to support the controllers, it's very cool that Sony is patching older games to implement motion.
The question is, of course, do you care? Do you want to experience RE5 in a different way? How about LBP?

I want a video!

I wouldn't care about RE, but I'm curious to see what they do with LBP. With the amount variation and creativity of the stuff that's out now, they could easily add something entirely new and unlike anything else.

It wont hurt to have MC incorporated in these games.... now we will see how it works.

This is where Natal will shine. That is the fact you can hold and use a normal controller, while still using the motion and depth sensing of Natal. Asking people to hold onto half a controller to use motion sensing = laughable at best. Should've done something with a combination of the 6-axis and eyetoy...

holding a dualshock with one hand does not sound awesome or comfortable.

The idea of holding a dualshock to move and the Motion controller to shoot kinda sounds annoying. Wouldnt i need three hands to hold both of them? Why couldnt they just put an analog stick on the motion controller?

I love the idea of littlebigplanet using motion controls, great way to edit levels

Just make a Resident Evil 5 Wii edition already! i understand making it would be hard due to graphical issues but im sure they can pull it off. Ive heard if they gonna bring it to the wii, they gotta remake the whole game just so it can handle the Wii System Hardware. Oh Hell

I think the motion controls could really help streamline the level editor of LBP as well as help cut out shapes better.

New Time Crisis is all I am looking forward to. Or a remake of the old gun arcade called "Police Trainer", or something along that line.

re5 is great too because you don't have to move fast so it safe in that regard. you don't have large number of enemies on scren at once(in view most of the time) and really is Resident Evil you just stand in one spot and shot. so it will be better and much more accurate. i can see whythey picked this game and LBP well thas hard with a DS3 to get the jumps right that game will be really hard or really bad.

I have LBP, played it a couple of times. . .not really sure how the motion controller will work with that game.
I might have to try it out and yes I'll try RE5 as well with the motion controllers.
Hopefully, they'll do the same thing with Killzone 2.
...and wasnt there a rumor that they trying it with God of War too?

well well well looks like sony was first to bring a high def game with motion control. Really both games look great and I might even lean on the side of Little Big planet when it comes to graphics but this is what people wanted a great looking game with motion control. Well thats what I wanted anyway. IF killzone 2 could be rereleased with the new motion controls and us the head tracking on the PS EYE you could used the cover sysetm by ducking and looking around the coner with you body and use the "wand" as a gun. Killzone 2 is the perfect game for this because it is first person and it has a cover system thats basicly duck and put your head out. Now if they did do this they would have to advertise the damn game in the United States "sony" really what was the plan for marketing behind killzone. I know let the Europeans tell the American about it. Guess what it did not work and your marketing did not either. but i am really happy so see a high def game us the wand. but really where is that damn analog stick?

Considering that Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition was actually able to IMPROVE on one of the best games of the last generation, I am confident that Capcom can do it again with Resident Evil 5.

At last I don't have to worry about missing an easy target 'coz of the stupid laser thingie. But the question is, will we be able to use the old saves or do we have to start all over again?

I'm very intrigued to see how Resident Evil 5 utilizes the motion control. It must work great if they're prepared to release an all new edition. Kind of glad I rented it the first time through now.
