Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi revealed model details on the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 for PlayStation 3. During Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2009 press conference, the following modes and features were revealed:
- GT Mode: World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.
- Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.
- Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage.
- GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.
While everyone expects a new Gran Turismo game to have improved graphics and physics (don't worry, they're there), the connectivity of GT5 is really interesting. I know loads of gamers that will be thrilled to upload their exploits to YouTube or transfer them to their PSPs to show off their driving skills. The new additions are super interesting and really round out the overall offering.

I would prefer full damage-modeling on ALL of the vehicles in GT5, however, including WRC in the game already got my attention.
I really do hope Polyphony Digital got their act together with the GT series. I haven't played an enjoyable GT game since GT2.

It's funny when fanboy complain about people tainting the threads, but then those same people do the same thing.
By the way GT5 comes out March 2010 it has been said already, but you would that if your heads wasn't up your!!!!
Are we still counting dlc as actual games? Wow, fanboys must find something to talk about I guess.
And all those games you stated are games that I don't want to play and i have a 360. I guess ODST must not be that good cause the fanboys are still on the site spewing lies.

Hm... It's funny, because a small delay could have saved the Xbox 360's failure rate. Call it "Delaystation" to your heart's content -- I'd much rather have a polished finished product than have someone rush just to beat the competition (cough, cough, Microsoft), and have a knowingly flawed, *ahem*, "finished" product.

You're right. L4D isn't a 360 exclusive, but it's still one game the 360 has over PS3 (if you don't own a gaming PC).

REALLY?! Did you happen to play all of the games already? I'm sure you're going to be right (L4D2 looks to be as good as the first in my opinion), but seriously, you shouldn't have stated that in the form of a fact, when four of the five games you listed aren't even out yet.

Can catch up? What the crap are you talking about? We just had Halo:ODST come out, Forza 3 is coming out, Left 4 Dead 2 is coming out, Ballad of Gay Tony is coming out. I'm pretty sure the Xbox is just fine with console exclusives. Not only are we getting these great games but, they'll actually sell and get great critical acclaim. So... when is GT coming out? When was that announced? Haven't we had 2 Forza games in the time it's taken for GT5 to come out? Whatever, I can't be nearly as aggrevated at you as I am the guy that wrote this article. If only they were half as interested in Forza 3.

Japan will get it in March 2010, no word on North America or Europe.
Looks like that list of 2009 Delaystation exclusives is shrinking again.
