It seems that Sony Santa Monica director of product development John Hight was being a bit coy earlier this month when he said that a demo for God of War III would not be included with the God of War Collection being released in November.
Well, Hight has apparently received the go ahead to announce, via the PlayStation Blog, that every copy of the GoW Collection, which includes graphically updated versions of both God of War and God of War II, will include a PlayStation Network voucher for the God of War III demo that appeared at this year’s E3.
Now, even though you’ll be able to enjoy the demo in the comfort of your own home, I suggest getting in line early just to be safe. I know that most people had probably already decided whether they were going to pick up the GoW Collection by now, but having access to the GoW III demo should make that decision just a tad easier. Right?

I was already going to buy the God of War Collection but this makes me want to buy it even more!

It was just a few weeks ago that they said they had no plans to put in a GOW 3 demo. I guess they listened to the fans who asked for it though. Anyway this is yet another great reason to pick up this collection. It was already worth the money without it though.

Now this game is worth more than $40 (not like some other "new" game that just came out). . .I'll even pay full $60 for it.

I am glad that the powers that be decided to include the demo to what may be one of the best ideas for a re-release that I can think of. My thanks to Hight for the change in mind and I will definitely pick this up on launch day.

Gonna order my copy tomorrow along with pre-ordering God of War 3. Pumped for this to come out even more now. Might as well trade-in my PS2 versions while I am at it.
