Second Left 4 Dead DLC "Crash Course" Coming September 29

Microsoft Made Valve Charge For New Left 4 Dead DLC On The 360“Boo!! Left 4 Dead 2 means that Valve is abandoning us loyal Left 4 Dead fans, and will no longer be supporting L4D! Boycott! Boycott!” I still don’t understand this mentality, and I don’t think I ever will, and yet I can’t help but wonder how anti-L4D2 folks are feeling knowing that Valve will be releasing its second DLC update for L4D on September 29th for Xbox 360 (560 Microsoft Points) and PC (free).

In case you hadn’t heard, “Crash Course” adds a new single-player, multiplayer and co-op play, set in between two of the game’s original campaigns, “No Mercy” and “Death Toll.” The DLC comes with survival maps and a co-op campaign. Valve says that “Crash Course” is designed to “deliver a complete versus mode experience in just 30 minutes.” To achieve this, infected teammates now have a recharge timer, and item spawning has been balanced out.

How much DLC does a developer have to release to convince you that it doesn’t hate you?
