Q: Why are pirates pirates?
A: Because they ARRRRRRR!
Me hearties, it nearly be "talk like a pirate day." The annual celebration of grog, wenches and booty happens toMAAAARRRRow, Septem-arrr 19th. To celebrate, Telltale Games is making the premiere episode of Tales of Monkey Island a free download on its website all day.
That's not all the booty that be yours to plunder, No-Beard The Pirate. You'll also be able to enjoy
- 50% off the iPhone and iPod touch version of LucasArts’ new The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition via Apple’s App Store
- 50% off The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition on Steam and Direct2Drive.
You know why there's no "Talk Like a Ninja" day? Because Ninjas are too cool to talk, and if they did, they wouldn't have some lame accent and dumb words for everything! Take THAT, pirates!

That's pretty awesome, free gaming is always good.
Why don't we create a ninja-themed holiday? If anyone can make it catch on, you can G4.
Maybe "Act like a Ninja Day" where you dress in all black and sneak around everywhere?
SwitzaHouse
Adventure, excitement, Ninja crave not these things.

Since when are ninjas cooler? How many great books or movies have been made about ninjas? Kung fu and samurai maybe, ninjas not so much. Pirates with pirate ships, cannons, swords, pistols, alcohol and whores pwn rice eating ninjas all day.

I'll take it

I knew about it, Shockwave, but I'll give you credit for being awesome. How's that?

Stephen, why do you have to go and start up a start a flame war? Everyone knows pirates are cooler, who else can drink a bottle of rum and still stand and fight?
Shockwave562
