It won't be long before Naughty Dog and Sony deliver Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to PlayStation 3 owners. October 13 is only a few weeks away! We checked out a nearly final build of the game at Penny Arcade Expo and also chatted with Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig about her feelings as the project wraps up.
"I am so proud of this game. It is miles beyond what we did in the last game and I'm only just sort of hitting that point where you can kind of see the forests through the trees and step back and see the work. I'm just so pleased with what we managed to achieve. I mean, we worked our asses off. It's all in there, we've packed it all in."

This game looks....EPIC every time I see it I just foam at the mouth because it just looks like so much fun. It reminds me of the times when I would play games just for fun and not have to worry about the tone or overall seriousness of the game. Does anyone know how long the game will be though, because I have been hearing from 18-22 hours.

well im not sure ill ever drop my 360 :P but there are those odd titles i see on the ps3 that really make me want the console :P now with the price drop its somewhat feasible for me to purchase one as a casual system alongside my xbox, without feeling like im wasting money. although i normally dont like buying consoles this far into their lifespan, i guess its ok if ms/sony are telling the truth and they expect another 3-5 years out of these consoles its not to much of a waste. (not getting a slim though that things UGLY I.M.O.) :P

It is definately worth it. Back in the days when I only had a 360 and found out about uncharted, I was like pshhh lame. Boy was I wrong, once I got a ps3 I never looked back to my 360 especially ze free online!

man, ive only heard good things about uncharted. im seriously thinking about buying a ps3 so i can try it out. of course id buy the first and play it through before starting the second :P ive never been able to risk ruining a good story :) so any uncharted owners out there, is the game really good? worth buying the console for?

lol, yea I also hate it how they release great game during my finals. I never played the first one but the second one intrigues me more then the 1st. Such a great line up thats going to hurt my wallet lol. I'm definitely going to pick up Demon Souls, Uncharted 2 and CODMW2.

Ahem, let me add some fuel to this fire. Engadget.com along with Joystiq have confirmed that the 250GB Uncharted 2 bundle is real. It's on their homepage, and I'm submitting this to G4 right now.

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! I am so excited for this game I can hardly wait. As excited as I am, I begin to realize how bad of a time it is to be a gamer, Uncharted 2, R&C: ACiT, GoW 1&2, I simply dont have the money. Its like having a nice medium-well done steak with little or no fat, just shining on my plate reflecting the light from the dimly lit table lamp, then being told I can only savor half of the flavor. Lest i forget GT5, GoW3 and MAG will be coming out not to far from now either, I could easily drop $300+ on games alone in the next 5-6 months, man I need money!!!!!!!
Oh also, way to release these games right around finals, love ya Sony, thanks! Or not :(
